Westminster Bridge Road Post Office

I’ve lived in the area for reaching three years and I usually walk twenty minutes to the next nearest post office despite this being my local. I appreciate they might feel under pressure and being a business owner is hard, but they take this out on customers, multiple times they have moaned and tutted that they don’t get much money from Royal Mail from pre-paid parcels. Therefore I made a conscious effort to not pre-pay and buy postage in store to support them but they are still rude and short and always, always overcharge or upsell or there is always an issue with how you wrapped your parcel or something. Plus, this isn’t always possible for returns etc and I can tell they absolutely don’t want to serve anybody.

If I could, I would give 0 star. In my last visit, I carried return item, bought from Amazon it was quite big since it was a pot. Lady at the office said it is too big. And I said it is for a return and showed a return code. She then asked where, so I answered Amazon. She didn't even see the code I was showing. She then said I should apply return first. It was really embarrassing because I showed her my return code and keep answering really politely that I booked a return already and here is my return code. She then said that is too big and they don't have Amazon bag now so nothing can be done now. I had to carry back that item with me. Is it that hard to reply that they cannot handle Amazon return on that day kindly? I felt like I was cheated during the stupid conversation. And today, my sister went here for posting item, but again, lady said due to the strike of royal mail, they cannot receive any parcels. Okay with that but still, her attitude and how she speaks to others isn't kind.

they don't like accepting pre paid ebay items and will bend the truth to try to get you to pay them in addition - dishonest and rude people

Very slow and rude staff every time I go there. Worst post office I’ve experienced so far.

Very rude woman working in the post office was very polite to the customer before me but she is always the same with me and I'm told other people have had the same experience, the male member of staff is lovely always attentive and helpful,

The lady behind the counter is absolutely nasty and rude. If you can go to another post office avoid this one. Most unpleasant experience

Reading the reviews beforehand I was nervous as I entered unsure what to expect. Moderate queue (pretty standard these days). When I got to the front the woman asked me to put my parcel on the scales. Not thinking straight I tried to hand it through the hatch. She denied it and firmly (but fairly) said it needed to be weighed first. Overall a decent experience. Would post again. Moral of the story don't judge a book by its Google review

It's shocking nothing has been done regarding the very rude lady behind the counter. I only use Post Office, especially here as a last and only option purely because of these staff.

03/11/2023 customer service is absolutely 0 and rude. I wanted to drop my parcel like I usually do and the lady just said drop it outside . I have a drop off next to my house but I have ocd so I always prefer drop personally. This happened around 10:40. I hope the refurbishment finishing soon blackfriars post office because they are at least nice there. She clearly doesn’t like her job.

If you hate your job so much and don't like costumer service, why don't you look for a new job? ... We are all human and should treat people with kindness.This is my local branch for more than 7 years now, I've always had a bad experience with VERY rude staff but today was one of the worst I've experienced in London. I'm not going there anymore. Avoid!
