Loved it had some great fish and the lads at the hut are outstanding, so helpful. Great fishing venue. Carp at 30lb before people ask.

Have fished here for many years and can recommend the fishing both course and fly. The scenery is magical and the staff are so helpful. Thefishing lodge serves good food and great coffee at reasonable prices.I hope it continues for many years to come and want to say we are luckyto have a facility like this on our doorstep. My grandson loves it.Thank you Patshull Park for a great venue, long may it continue.

Ballif was really friendly and helpful, and so we're the people who were fishing the competition.

Excellent pike fishery ... despite some reviews saying 'lure fishing spoilt by deadbaiting and blanked' when in actual fact I suspect the people involved were useless lure anglers and wouldn't catch a duck at the fairground. Don't see why dead bait or even live bait use affects lure fishing...weird if you believe that IMHO.Also statement that boat pricing is per person is erroneous I believe. At least used to be 2 persons per boat max ... each pay for one standard pike fishing ticket and then pay for hire of boat (plus motor optional extra) which is same as for 2 people onboard as it is for 1.So...1 in boat = £10 bank ticket + £25 boat+motor hire =£352 in boat = 2 X £10 bank tickets + £25 boat and motor = £45

Great fishing venue, but it no longer caters for trout fishing.

Fished here many years ago great fishing & still is

Alot of water to fish but not many pegs to fish from. We turned up and none fishable. Either bank was too steep, no room for bivvy, wooden platform so couldn't use bank sticks

Patshall was one of very few fly fishing ,from a boat ,venue in the whole of the Midlands . However ,under new management, trout fishing is no longer an option there anymore. It’s a great shame as I have had many happy days in their beautiful lake and grounds, and so have many of my friends.The lake is still open but only pike and course fishing.The reality is that fly fishing is a dying art as the cost of the trout has become extraordinarily expensive.However, I wish the new owners every success in the future.

Don't bother planning a spinning session there .. fish spoilt by dead baiting... 4 visits, 4 full days, not a bingle BITE! Absolute waste of time.... Not to mention pricing for boats.. price per person not per boat?! Ridiculous. Take two boats out and pay the same as per two people one boat.... Wouldn't bother for spinning
