Barnham Chinese Take Away

Mixed veg was mostly strps of white stuff, ( ? ) with a couple of bits of undercooked carrot and water chestnut and 3 peas. Could have used some green veg at least and less gloopy sauce. The mushroom noodles tasted nearly the same as the gloopy sauce....king prawns and cashews were great.

Absolute awful experience, I tried ordering a takeaway for delivery. Before ordering I contacted the restaurant who confirmed I could order a delivery for an additional charge. Which I had no issues with. After placing the order online I then received an email with confirmation of my order. 1 hour went by and I tried contacting the restaurant, but discovered I had been blocked. I reattempted to phone them on my mothers phone. By this point it had been 1 hour 30 minutes. The gentleman on the line answered this time and confirmed that the order was definitely on it way and with the driver. Moments later, at this point 2 hours had passed we phoned again and the phone clerk proceeded to advise the order was still on it way and it had definitely left the kitchen, we advised we wasn’t happy that it is taking so long. Considering we only live in yapton, this is 6 minutes away from the restaurant we was extremely concerned why it was taking so long to be delivered. This time 2 hours and 15 minutes had passed, we tried to phone back to only discover we have also been blocked on my mothers phone too. Absolutely disgusted with the service and the lies I was proceeded to be told by the restaurant. This will not be the end of this.

I wouldn't bother, very expensive and not very appetizing. I know it's a greasy choice but these guys have the grease on another level.... We had 2 standard mains and 2 sides...I was blowing bubbles with the satay chicken....£25! crazy really for what you are getting.

1 star for food as we didn't get any as we told to turn up at 8.15 to pick up takeaway. 20 minutes later , no sign of it. Asked for refund and left. People had been waiting 30 minutes or more. No explanation for the delay. Felt sorry for the poor lad front of house who was taking the brunt of complaints. Should have been the management. Shan't be returning. Avoid.

Down from London for the weekend grabbed a takeaway for hotel all piping hot freshly made and very tasty. Dishes all about £6.50 each so good value too.

An absolutely fantastic place to eat! The food was great and the staff were so friendly! Looking forward to my next visit! :D

Takeaway only. Tasty and good value. Fast delivery as well.

Best Chinese Takeaway in the area by far. Special chow mien is superb and highly recommended.
