Great buying experience at Shelbourne Motors new showrooms Newry. Gary McGuigan did a first class job of selling us a new KIA Nero. The whole experience was stress free and Gary kept us informed in between first visit and pick up day with clear and precise videos of the car. Would recommend a visit.

The service was atrocious. Ordered a car in early June, and was told it would be there in 6/8 weeks. Then in December after being told numerous different stories, was told they couldn’t get the car. Firstly they gave me incorrect details about my finance options, which they then corrected when I said I’d take them to the finance regulator, then they tried to tell me that I’d ordered a white car - and not the colour stated on my order form - they then told me the price they’d given me for my trade in was on a sliding scale - when it also is printed on the finance documents, with no mention of a sliding scale. I’ve had these documents checked by an advisor and they confirm this is not the case. Now after waiting for 6 months, I’ve been told Kia are not making anymore Picanto Gti S line - and that the car cannot be supplied. I’ve lost out on getting the same value for my own car as it is now 6 months older and spilling into another year. When I went to shelbourne the car was only 2, now it is 2.5 and deemed 3 when trading. So 2000 less of a trade in price. No apology, no offer of a different car, no explanation - just sorry car not coming - go away!! Kia are not much better, I’ve contacted them and they take no ownership of how their dealers behave. So my advice buy something else - from anyone else. I won’t be going back, and neither will anyone else belonging to me. My son did warn me - he’d had dealings with Shelbourne previously and it wasn’t good - the service was appalling, their after care is terrible - the car I’m driving might have a 7yr warranty but when they refuse to deal with the problems, it is hardly a positive - several issues have been raised since I bought this vehicle new, but to date not one has been resolved. I’m leaving one star - not because it is something they deserve - but because I can’t post this without a star..

I purchased a KIA Sportage 1.6T GDi from Shelbourne Motors. I’m very happy with the car and the whole experience of dealing with the team. No messing about. Gary, Gary and Kyle were all very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Happy to recommend Shelbourne KIA to anyone.
