Vets4Pets - Chippenham

One of my family members went to collect my pets ashes and she had the box of ashes shoved into her hand and the receptionist had an attitude and have her stood there waiting infront of tons of other animals and the she got tutted at! I do not think that a lady like that should be the first thing customers pet owners have to face especially in a time like that! Other than the receptionist the actual vet staff are lovely and have taken good care of my pets over the years would recommend if you want good care taken of your pets, would not recommend if you want a teenage girl like experience with the receptionists

Vets4Pets Chippenham are absolutely amazing. They really take good care of my cat and we always leave happy. My cat settles really well with the vets there, they are so patient and gentle with her. They are very good at keeping you informed of everything and always there for you if you need to ask them.

We purchased a puppy from Carln Friday night and needed to get her second injection done and your vets were very helpful and fitted us in striaght away with vaccinations and wormer ,also the receptionist was very helpful with helping to find things I needed for our puppy ,thank you all so very much I would recommend you to anyone .

Charged £46 for medication that is available online for £19. If you absolutely have to use this vet for any reason, ensure you ask for the prescription to take away and then buy the medication elsewhere. A nearly 150% mark up is beyond unreasonable.

It seems like these guys genuinely really care about the animals which is nice, the staff are always friendly. In the past we’ve found some other vets are more interested in the money than the animals

Very lovely caring friendly staff! Other pet owners should have more consideration for others. I was there as my cat had a nasty injury with ended up being a leg amputation while waiting for him to go in a dog owner kept moaning while talking on a phone about a cat being near her dogs fed up with her moaning. I just moved away so rude.

The vet was terrified of our Great Dane, scared she was going to be knocked as she had a bad knee. This then was picked up by our dog, who became very anxious. She did not checks beyond a couple of seconds listen to her heart and administration of her vaccine. We are having to go to a different vet and pay again to get kennel cough after she refused to give us a capped syringe to administer at home after our dog got to the stage she was beyond treating. The vet was disinterested and for an annual check up, this was shocking. We have never had issues with getting our dog to walk into the consulting room, but the vet was so scared of her, and she in turn picked up on this, that we had to push her into the room. She is a small female Great Dane, who did not snap at the vet, and made only a tiny growl. This vet was not competent to deal with her and so we should of been offered another vet, who does not have issues with large dogs. We have never had this issue before in the last 4.5 years.

First visit with new kittens. Reception staff were polite and friendly. Vet came out asked about kittens and took them for treatment. Reception staff helped setup plans and insurance which came through before we left. Have already recommended to friend who has just got a puppy!

I rang for an emergency appointment and was given one for an hour later - which was great. Staff from reception to consultation room were friendly and knowledgeable. Vet was reassuring and thorough and put my mind at rest giving my much loved moggy a thorough examination and explaining the treatment needed. Happy to say he's well on the way to recovery now thanks to the excellent work of your lovely vet

I took Gracie (Cockapoo) for a check-up this morning. In between the work he had to do the vet took every opportunity to cup her face in his hands and look into her eyes as if to say, I get you and I like you." It really helped her to calm down and stop shaking. Thank you."
