place was much better when it was round at John Brannan Way... the guy in there was dead helpful and knew his stuff inside out. guys at the new place (one in particular) as unhelpful as possible. takes great pleasure in telling you nothing is in stock then tells you not to order online as it's putting them out of business. Have a trade account but they never ask for the card or number and when I offered it told I was getting a big enough discount as it was. how would you know? asked him recently if you get a discount with the trade card and he said 'aye a huge one' then asked him trade price of a part and he tells me the price full price shown in the catalogue (after saying 'what's postcode?'). I says to him that's the same price as catalogue and he says 'aye but that's with the VAT added'. EDIT... I went back here in August 2001 and there was a different guy on counter. He couldn't have been more helpful. Knew his stuff and was friendly. I asked him about the trade discount thing (mentioned above) and he had it sorted in 2 mins. Looked on my account and said there wasn't a certain signal set. changed it and now when I go online I can actually see I'm set up for the trade discount. Saved about £200 on the order I made in August. What a difference compared to the other guy. I have therefore updated it from 2 stars to 4. If he's there next time it'll be 5 stars lol
