What a lovely stay we had! Facilities are amazingly good, showers hot, powerful and spotlessly clean, lots of toilets and showers so no waiting around to use them! The forest setting was perfect for our dog, and a lovely walk to the cafe in the morning through it. Staff where always visible and very helpful. They have a shop on site as well supplying bits and bobs!100% highly recommend and will certainly be back!

I have to say this site is in a beautiful location and the staff are really helpful and friendly, the toilet facilities are first class and spotlessly clean. The only down side to the site is the frequency of emptying the large waste bins, this is the second time we have been to the site and the bins were more than overflowing with rubbish on both occasions, to the extent visitors where just leaving rubbish outside the bins which were piled high. This is also a health hazard and could attract rats and vermin.

We were the first guests in the new Geodome at the campsite and had a fantastic couple of nights. It really did feel like a treat to camp in luxury. Everything had been thought of to make our stay so comfortable. The kitchenette was well stocked, the water and electrics make it easy to cook and clean and the space inside was great. The campsite was wonderful too with clean facilities and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

A lovely campsite in the heart of Sherwood Forest. Only a few years old and you can tell, everything is still squeaky clean ! Great layout, lots of spacious hardstanding and grass pitches, some with hook up and water. Play park for kids - probably better for slightly older kids than tots as the centre piece is a big climbing type structure.Friendly staff too - what's not to like ?We came here in November after heading north to avoid Storm Ciaran. After visiting so many flooded campsites it was great to find this one with very dry pitches and hardly a puddle in site. I'd definitely recommend.

A beautiful campsite in the forest. The hosts are friendly and approachable, and the facilities are really modern and clean. We stayed in our campervan, the pitch was well proportioned and in a great location. We were a 10 minute walk away from Sherwood Pines centre with its cafes, bike hire, and go ape. It's a dog friendly site with lots of beautiful woodland walks surrounded by wildlife. I can't wait to come back!

Didn't stay in rooms.I can well see why this site is a favourite for families. There are play grounds for the kids, flying disk golf, football field and nature trails. The toilets.,showers are clean and showers have plenty of hot water. The facilities also have a dog washing area and cater for mountain bike cleaning etc.The only issue I have is the site being in the forest should provide signs in the forest guiding campers back to the site as there are so many trails and roads it is easy to get lost whilst walking in the forest, whilst being a grumpy 61 year old it's not a problem but I should imagine a child who can follow signs if lost not having said signs it could be pretty frightening.

We were camping here and I have to say what an amazing fantastic site this was. Clear paths , tidy everywhere , facilities they had a dog wash , bike wash, large undercover inside sinks area with multiple sinks. Good facilities in separate toilets and showers and also 2 large family bathrooms. Great location to explore the local area too.The shop in reception caters towards kids and also a whole wall section for dogs treats and stuff too. Happily visit here again.

Went here for our first night as touring owners. Met at reception and guided to our pitch and was offerred choices where to lots. Plenty of advice and friendly. Park is in Sherwood Pines forest so has great bike routes, Go Ape and loads of walks. Great wash facilities and dog wash too.

We had a last minute booking in our van and we weren't disappointed! The staff were so lovely and helpful and the site is lovely with amazing facilities. We enjoyed a lovely hot shower and even managed to dry out in the laundry room after a very soggy day! We got our van stuck in the mud but Chez was on hand in the morning to pull us out and was an absolute star! We also enjoyed a gorgeous walk in the beautiful forest before heading home. We will definitely be back!

This is the second time I've been. Very good campsite for location and for kids. However it's the second time I've booked with lots of notice and then found later that there is an offer that would have knocked 20% off the cost. I will not book in advance next time, this isn't a cheap campsite and anything to make it more affordable would be welcome. The play park is also not a friendly and welcoming place at all times. After 7pm it gets a little lord of the flies.
