Avis Car Hire - Exeter Airport

Thank you: the staff at the Avis desk at Exeter airport were extremely helpful regarding all the insurance and other documentation. The Car was ready to drive away and in very good condition. On our return we were welcomed in the Car Park and the final checks were carefully and quickly accomplished. We can easily recommend this car hire Team.

Local airport hire car pick up and return with very helpful staff ( unlike the app when trying to complete a booking on line, and trying to manage the booking by requesting an extension)

The problem I had with Avis is not with the staff or vehicle, but with Avis policy of not providing a spare tyre. This means customer is forced to take out breakdown coverage at additional expense. Not mentioned at booking stage. Come on Avis. Lift your game and provide full disclosure.

Zoe is an absolute credit to your team. I had a situation on Sunday evening when the office was closed and stupidly locked my phone in the car. Zoe had to deal with my frantic calls this morning and has gone above and beyond to get it all sorted, even though she’s been rushed off of her feet on her own. I'm very grateful that such a lovely genuine person has been dealing with me as I'm not sure many people would care quite as much.Collection of the car was easy, everything was explained well and Zoe was friendly and professional despite having to deal with a rude customer raising his voice at her before seeing us. We added an additional driver on the day, which was again quick and easy. There was also a massive queue behind us, with just one person dealing with them all! I really hope you manage to keep hold of her Avis, as there are not many people working in Customer Services that are the same calibre anymore.

Zoe was fantastic on the front desk and we were able to get away quickly. Unfortunately when the car started it came up with a service due request. (Also no water in the windscreen washing container). Over the three day hire the vehicles engine management system symbol came on too. Rang Zoe who was very helpful, and said to keep driving. A little disconcerting though. Return of the vehicle was fine, Zoe helpful and apologetic. Happy to use Avis/Budget again, just needed attention to maintenance of the vehicle.

Friendly, clear and efficient rental from AVIS Exeter Airport. Zoe especially provided clear instructions and answers to questions and efficient drop off at Heathrow. Will use again.

Not to bad in the end. VW Polo was torture to drive 2000 miles (4 weeks). Tony at Manchester Airport saved the day by dropping us right in front of the train station for our return back to Canada. Will definitely be getting a real car from Budget when I return next year. LMFAO

I used budget car rental at Exeter Airport as it was the cheapest. Zoe at the collection counter was great! Zoe explained everything I needed to know and did push all the usually added extras. This made the collection quicker. The car was very clean and great condition. Would recommend and use again.

Avis/Budget rep Zoe Marshall at Exeter Airport was great! We arrived a couple of hours before the booked time. She helped us get the car early, and answered several questions I had en-route, all promptly and in detail.When I returned the car at Heathrow, Avis didn't refund me money they owed, and their online support folks never responded to my queries, but again Zoe helped, getting us a full refund. Thanks, Zoe!

The lady on reception at Exeter airport was exceptional. I think her name was Zoe. She was amazing. Highly commendable.
