I am always amazed at how quickly my son can learn a new piece to play with his band. This is purely down to Steve’s patience and enthusiasm and the good habits and techniques that he instilled in him from the very start of his lessons. Highly recommend.

Having never played the drums before, I’ve found Steve’s approach to teaching really helpful. I’ve gone from never playing the drums before to playing my first piece within a few months! After every lesson with him I feel like I’ve either learnt something new or my skills have improved even by a tiny amount. He also has the patience of a saint so it doesn’t matter how many times I need him to go over something, It’s not a problem. I used to play the piano when I was at school but never looked forward to my lessons. With Steve I really look forward to our weekly sessions. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone who wants to learn the drums

Steve has been a brilliant teacher for our ten year old boy, who comes away from lessons really on a high and enthused to learn more. I would highly recommend Steve as a teacher for both adults and children.

Steve is an excellent drum tutor, I would highly recommend him to anyone of any standard or age.I met him to just learn the basics as I was hoping my 6 year old would then want to take up lessons. I’m still having lessons a year later as he’s a great teacher and I have enjoyed learning from him.Great set up in his home studio, 2 kits with headphone mics etc.He’s a great teacher with a good structure to the process, excellent for a complete beginner like me.Steve’s an awesome drummer, still gigging in bands, so he can offer advice to drummers of all standards.
