Abingdon Road is the main arterial road to the south of the city of Oxford, England The road passes through the suburbs of Grandpont and New Hinksey. It is named after the town of Abingdon to the south. Terraced houses on Abingdon Road.Part of the road was known as the Causey or Causy until the 17th century, after the Grandpont causeway that ran from St Aldate's to Hinksey Hill.To the north, the road crosses the River Thames at Folly Bridge and becomes St Aldate's, which leads to the centre of Oxford at Carfax, although the one-way system now prevents traffic from taking a direct route

One of the most inspiring RC churches for music, excellent, with great variety; and homilies. Even during the Low Mass on weekdays, the parish priest manages to hit the button with his few carefully chosen words. Much appreciated.

The church is quite concealed due to the long and tall walls. The church itself has a unique beauty. The congregation are friendly and we've been received with warmth. The priest we've met is very friendly too and very kind.

Lovely big church, good social distancing measures, alcohol to sanitize your hands, masks were used all the away through Mass. It was a Portuguese/ Brazilian mass and it was lovely.

This is a lovely place to visit. The people are so friendly and you will feel at home and relaxed. It's more like being with an extended family. Lovely Mass and nice cup of tea or coffee with a biscuit after.
