Toby Carvery Cocket Hat
Shambolic on every level. We were told there would be no eggs before we ordered so we went ahead anyway. Porridge came without the compote but the girl did give me a strawberry. There was no black pudding and when I enquired the chef just said “there’s none”! There was no coffee so I had to find someone to refill the machine. Went for toast and there was no bread. I asked for more and waited 10 minutes. When I went to toast it, it was frozen. Put it onto the toaster and it was only toasting one side. Because it was frozen I had to put it through 4 time. All the while the breakfast was getting cold. I complained to a very nice assistant who relayed my concerns to the manageress who decided that a free pudding would suffice, bearing in mind that it was only 10.30 and assuming we’d actually return for lunch. Throughout this ‘experience’ there was only one assistant who seemed to be doing everything from taking orders to filling coffee, clearing tables and dealing with customers complaints (I wasn’t the only one complaining) 10/10 to her. Suffice to say we won’t be returning

We called in today was greeted by Any made to feel very welcome. Friendly chef on the carving deck - Thomas. 5 different meat joints on the deck: beef, gammon, turkey, lamb, pork (Sunday). I was asked if I had any allergies very professional. Will be back soon.

Toby Carvery Cocket Hat
A very good carvery, competitively priced. A good selection of meats and vegetables, two sizes of Yorkshire puddings to choose from and several types of gravy, as well as other side dishes. Polite, attentive, and helpful staff. It can get busy, although generally you don't have to book. I eat here about once a month and I'm never disappointed.

First time in Aberdeen and we managed to find a Toby restaurant. It's a great restaurant. Delicious food. Buffet dinner for 8.49 is very cheap and worth it. Great staff Richard and Anna

So the service would be a 5 star if the chefs had less of an attitude about them.The servers / waiting staff are lovely and friendly but are sadly let down by the chefs attitude towards customers. This give an uneasy atmosphere as it is clear the waiting staff seem to have to apologise for this .

Very good price. Great quality food for 5.99 breakfast unlimited buffet. The best coffee - I've ever had for breakfast -Cappuccino from Lavazza for 2,50 ( cheaper than petrol station Costa)Welcoming staff Billy and Ana.

Ana has been wonderful tonight. So friendly and helpful even though it was super busy.All staff, including carvery and bar staff, so friendly despite being under pressure with a very busy night. Thank you. We had a great time!

I recently visited Aberdeen Toby Carvery Cocket Hat and was blown away by the delicious breakfast and exceptional service delivered by Manager Anna, she made us feel very welcome, my kids constantly asking when we go back there. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and breakfast chef Moni went above and beyond to accommodate special requests from my daughter. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great quality and unlimited breakfast (I was surprised we payed only 5.99 per person). My kids love it.
