UPDATE: just had a phone call from Ian discussing my review and has offered a free service for the miscommunication on the sale of my car so I am now vary happy with the whole situation and happy to see chorley take great pride in the customer reviews and experience.Not vary happy with after sales service. Was sold a car with a service plan that just needed to be transferred into my name but was told by VWFS that my car has no active service plan on it so I called chorley and was basically told that they can't do anything and that the information they had said it did have a service plan so chorley who's paying for my next service!

I had an urgent recall of my vehicle so I had to book my car in to have it checked for peace of mind.The customer service on the phone was fine when booking and receiving my vehicle after the check. The low score is due to one member of staff who tried his best to ruin my day it seemed. I received an email when my car was ready to be in his best passive aggressive manner, stating how my car's tyre inflater canister was out of date and was marked as red and urgent. As it happens the canister was out of date when I bought the car 11 months ago and I hadn't noticed due to not having had a puncture in that time period. I spoke to the service team a out possibly getting the canister replaced by them, seeing as it was put of date by 4 years when I bought it from them last year. I personally thought this was a formality and that it would be a given that they would replace it and foot the bill. I was about to be surprised and after a hard day at work to boot. The tall head shaven salesperson I was confronted with was instantly on the defence, as though I had asked for the blood of his first born. He said in his finest passive aggressive tone that he wouldn't be replacing the canister on this occasion, killing the conversation and the mood instantly.I felt like talking to this rude mannered man about customer service and maybe giving him a little mathematics lesson about £8000 cars and £42 canisters but I figured he had lost my future sales for good due to his attitude.Even though I have received good customer service from Citroen at times, I will buy my next car elsewhere, where a more worthy and polite member of staff can obtain a bonus from the sale.So the urgent canister obviously wasn't very urgent once it wasn't me paying for it. Bit of joke really for the sake of £42.Must be struggling perhaps.2 stars.

After visiting several dealerships I decided to buy my car from Citroen Blackpool. The cars for sale are well displayed and the showroom is bright, clean and very pleasant. There was no pressure whatsoever from Steven Dalton. He was very helpful, friendly and courteous. On collecting the car everything was ready for me. Steven took the time to sit in the car with me, go through the various controls and made sure that I was happy with my “new” car. In fact nothing was too much trouble to him. Thank you Steven for great customer service

Me and the wife just bought a new car each from Ste Dalton at Citroen and we couldn’t be happier. We see Ste every time because his knowledge and transparency is what we value. He never pushes us and takes the time to find out what we want and what can best fit us. I trust ste that much I even purchased this car without seeing it first as I told him what I wanted and he got it for me. He doesn’t waste my time with the pushy salesman chat it’s always to the point and from the off he tells you what you can and can’t expect. He presents information the best way for me but still being very thorough. Constant communication via email and phone and a straightforward process. A good handover and off we go. Citroen has never let us down and I’m made up with my new car. Thanks so much

The waiting area inside the Citroen centre was clean and tidy with fresh water and a hot beverage drinks machine that's free to use whilst you wait for your car to be serviced etc, the lady who checked us in was very polite and professional in her work and was happy to help whenever we needed it, I also had a quick chat to one of the sales team (Steve) while my car was being serviced and talked about a future car upgrade once my mobility is due an upgrade.I will certainly be coming back to Blackpool Citroen vantage as they really do help you get what you need and they do have disabled facilities here which I used.A massive thanks to all that work there,you made my car like new again and a very good clean car at that Which was a nice brucy bonus that I was not expecting.See you all very soon in a year's time.Kind regards A.Sharpe

I just turned up to the Citroen garage to have a look around at cars a couple days ago and ended up buying my first car from Steve Dalton. It just so happened that the day I went they had a VIP event on and I won a free paint and fabric protection. Steve was amazing help and even got me sorted with insurance on my car. I can't wait to pick it up next week!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Really not happy with the service we have received. Car come with a 1 years warranty. But telling us we have to pay for it. When the problem was there when we picked the car up. I would like someone to make contact with me please.

Bought a c5 hdi aircross from Chorley Group Blackpool beginning of November, a lovely sales person called Lauren dealt with me. Unfortunately within 3 weeks a fault developed. Took it back and within 3 days of repair the same emissions fault appeared, so returned the car for repair again, By this time i was not happy with my purchase at all.I recently picked the car up again,Hopefully this repair will last longer than the first. Totally disappointed in Chorley Gruop for supplying a vehicle that failed within a short period. And a not fit for purpose product. If it fails again they can have the car back.

As a family we have used Citroen for years and besides the cars being solid, reliable units, a large reason for our repeated custom is the customer service. Ste Dalton has been our families “go to” man and this time was no different. As a female, buying a car I find really daunting as frankly I haven’t got a clue. But Ste really puts me at ease. I can ask a thousand “stupid” questions and he will answer every single time without the dreaded eye roll or sarcastic comment. I never feel pressured and he takes the time to sit and make sure the car is right for me. I never feel like I’m being pushed into a sale just for cash. In fact, when he has felt unsure he has sent me home to think about it! He genuinely cares that I am happy and it’s the right fit. His knowledge and skills and over all, honesty, is what brings back our custom. To the point where Ste left for a while and we became Citroen traitors (oops). Everyone I have met there, including the new manager who dragged Ste out of training to deal with us (sorry!) is fantastic!The cars have always been reliable and any minor issues have always been rectified quickly. The initial chat through to purchase and handover is seamless and the time taken to familiarise me with the car before I drive away is fantastic. I could literally write a book but honestly, if you are thinking of a new car please visit Citroen (especially Ste) I can guarantee you will be looked after from start to finish. Thank you Ste I absolutely love my new car!!
