Richer Sounds, Edinburgh

I have used Richer Sounds for many years - both personally and for my business. I have always recommended their team for their friendly and knowledgeable advice. I recently bought a surround sound system, and when I ran into issues with its calibration, they exceeded all my expectations when Craig from their team kindly visited my home to assist at no charge. A 5 star company let down by their choice of delivery partner. I can’t fault the service of the Richer-Sound staff, but I have to reduce my rating due to the issues I’ve had with my delivery. I’ve gone from potentially getting a tv delivered less than 24 hours after ordering it, to now waiting 4 days. Hopefully Richer Sounds do a review of who their distribution partner is and replace them with a company of equal customer service.

I was looking for a new amp to compliment my KEF LS50 speakers. I had a pleasure to speak with Tomasz, who's knowledge about system matching was just so impressive and complete! Tomasz was able to organise the demo listening for me, he's very competent and he straight away recommended the best sounding amplifiers for my music system. I was also able to bring my own speakers and records for the demo! Thank you so much! Great customer service as usual!

Fantastic service from Tomasz with my partner and I purchasing our new TV & Soundbar. From a quick phone call to the in-store experience, Tomasz was professional and extremely helpful with us deciding on what model and setup to go for in our new apartment. Really appreciate his help. We're delighted with Tomasz and very glad we didn't end up purchasing everything through Amazon directly.

Richer Sounds as a business is one that I really like. They have phenomenal sales and clearances and (as far as I've seen) do not stock bad products that you may fall into the trap of buying. I used them years ago when I first assembled my home hifi speaker system. At the time, I didn't have the funds for a full 5.1 and so dropped the centre speaker.Yesterday I sent out a clearance inquiry on the website for a centre speaker as I want to make my system 5.1 instead of 4.1. The inquiry was answered by this store promptly today via email. I have had multiple emails from the store manager Hauke who was both very helpful and incredibly swift with replies - over the span of about 40 or so minutes the entire transaction was sorted and was overall very painless.I can't speak for the in-store experience for this particular richer sounds, but if the rest of the staff are as helpful as Hauke was then I imagine it can only be a good experience.-Reuben

While the branch stock is limited, they do carry quote a reasonable range. It's worth checking the website for the full range and what the Edinburgh branch has available.
