Capoeira Edinburgh

Going to Capoeira is my most awaited event during the week for switching off the mind and just having fun in the games. Wonderful community and a phenomenal instructor :) By now, I cannot imagine my life without Capoeira and the Tucum community in Edinburgh :$

I recently took part in the 8 week beginners course and the instructor Piotr was fantastic. Piotr creates a welcoming, inclusive environment, and his teaching style is both engaging and patient. Piotr's passion for Capoeira is evident, and he fosters a strong sense of community within the class. If you're looking for a great Capoeira class with a fantastic instructor, I highly recommend this group.

At the start of 2020 I passed on the street next to a leaflet inviting for capoeira classes with Capoeira CDO Edinburgh. I have never done capoeira before that but I always thought it would be a great fitness challenge as well as just pure fun.What I experienced not only meet but significantly exceeded my expectations! Capoeira CDO Edinburgh it's a perfect place for anyone - whether you are keen to embark on new sports journey or you are a returning/practicing capoerista, as there all weekly classes designed for different levels of experience.In a package with great and fun movement training you also can experience a very welcoming and warm community with the best teachers ever!If you thought about trying Capoeira for even a split second I would tell you to just come and see for yourself how great it is!

The quality of teaching is extraordinary but what I love about CDO Scotland is the people! What an amazing community of people!!! Joined six years ago and that was definitely the best six years of capoeira in my life!The group is growing having new classes across Edinburgh that includes adults, kids and family sessions.I definitely recommend this! I've just taken the 8 week introductory class which was a lot of fun and gave a great overview of the various aspects of capoeira - attacks, defences, styles, history and music. It was challenging but accessible. I'm looking forward to joining the regular beginners class!

We had a private group session with Piotr, who made us all feel completely comfortable being beginners. He explained everything really well, understanding the basics and it was interactive and fun. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for something new and unique, it is something different to a traditional exercise class. Surprisingly a great team building experience. We will be booking again.

My 11-yr son and I really enjoyed attending capoeira classes. Minhoquinho and Risada are outstanding teachers, and the whole group is a beautiful, vibrant community. For us, fun and fitness all around!
