My wife and I had our wedding in June 2021. After all the postponements of covid, Jon was a constant source of calm for us both. From booking him in 2019 to the wedding day he was reassuring, professional, had a great sense of humour and in the end we formed a great friendship. In the end we had our mate Jon as our photographer.On the day, Jon was incredible with all of our guests who all said how fantastic he was. There aren't enough words to be able to thank Jon for all his work. The pictures were better than we ever imagined and captured a very special day for us both and all of our guests.

Jon's skill at capturing the innocent beauty of a little ones face is just amazing. he took some truly breathtaking photos of my daughter in her special Elsa Frozen dress and I can't thank him enough for the lovely memories he captured for us. Jon seemed a very nice pleasant man, nice manners, we don’t dispute that, that’s why he has two stars. Unfortunately he Came dressed for my wedding like he had been down the pub, loose baggy shirt hanging out of his trousers, could at least have tucked it in and put on a tie. Whatever his travel time was he was only at the wedding from 1-10, nine hours in smart attire is not too much to ask (didn’t ask for a jacket)I am afraid his photographs were neither poor nor fantastic. Many of my guests have commented on them, that they are similar to photos you take on your phone. I was very disappointed with the photos to say the least. The photos were not very flattering to anyone and were not of much interest. Nothing formal and nothing fun, just random snapshots of a day. I asked for the photos not to be cheesy but I did expect some modicum of artistic input for the photos not just everyday snapshots, which by the way, my guests all said what a wonderful day they had and how no detail had been left out and their photos reflected that, so why couldn’t the photographer. And he missed the cutting of the cake because he had gone off to photograph the entertainment girls, after he had said don’t worry about me, I will be around and you won’t notice me. I assumed he would be around but had disappeared off round the front of my house to photograph them, even though I hadn’t asked for that(he took tons of them on the stage, why the need for extras away from the wedding) A real shame as we won’t get that day back. By the end of the day, most of my guests knew of his photography history (bragging) totally not appropriate, the entertainment girls even made a joke of it. the picture shown is of my bridesmaid getting out of the car, the only photograph, and the others aren’t much better. Very disappointed indeed. Paid a lot of money for a very poor service.

Jon met us at felbrigg hall a couple of weeks ago to take some new born family shots for us. We didn’t want a studio sitting and we’re unsure where was best to do this as we had left it so late but Jon suggested felbrigg and he was so right to do so.His pictures are amazing and he was a good laugh with us and also very patient. He got brilliant shots that we can treasure forever, will definitely be using his skills again!!

Amazing photograper for our wedding day, made everyone feel at ease and was very patient with our dogs who were part of the bridal party
