Birmingham Theory Test Centre

The staff are rude, unfriendly, and ignorant. They have plenty of space in the ground floor reception, yet they ask people to stay outside till their exam time. They have no empathy for people standing in the rain.

There to do a workplace professional qualification. Staff who signed me in were friendly and supportive. Not being able to wait inside before my test time was a bit annoying though.

Got there exactly 15 minutes early. Staff were very polite (including staff at the front desk); there are procedures that need to be followed, so please do comply with them. Just generally, as long as you're nice to the staff and follow their procedures, they're great. Conditions are fine for a test centre.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clear instructions were provided and the onsite lockers include some that are large enough to store motorcycle helmets and protective jackets/over trousers etc. Very tight security around the testing rooms and identity verification, but all conducted in a calm professional manner.

Absolutely horrific staff. Not allowed to have a bottle of water or a toilet break. Absolutely zero empathy.

Too many jobsworths !!, no disabled facility's other than 1 toilet, lift inaccessible to anyone without staff escort, no-one available to escort back to the lift, ramp at ghe front door is about all, 3 rows of empty seat on the ground floor not allowed to use them" the reaso "even disabled will be in the way"

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. However, I couldn't help but notice that a smile from some of the staff members would go a long way in making people feel more comfortable and welcome.That being said, the access to the place was quick and simple, and all the staff members gave clear instructions on what to do. I appreciate that they took the time to explain things clearly, and it made my experience much smoother.Overall, I had a good experience here, and I would recommend it to others looking to take their theory test. The staff could work on their demeanor, but I can't fault them on their helpfulness and efficiency.

Not overly happy I didn't know they moved and was on time at the old building but by the time I got a taxi to the new place I was there bang on 15:00 was pressing the button to get into the building and couldn't get in which then made me 2 minutes late resulting in being turned away due to being late and it being the last session,was told I'd have to rebook. I wasn't the only person with this problem either... I think I'll book my test in my Redditch (my home town) never had any problems there before also passed my test there (having to do again due to it running out... Thanks COVID) staff also a bit not rude as it wasn't there fault but didn't seem understanding. Not even a phone number to call to say I'm running late or nothing

DVSA theory test center close to the city center. It is in the building labeled '154 great charles street', the entrance is by the road. About 10 seats and well organised. Air conditioned. Staff are strict but well mannered. Maintained hygiene. Good clean lockers for storage.

Easy to find, centrally located. Staff where very helpful. All you would expect from a test centre. Only downside,the toilets were actually next door, and were pretty grim...
