Place massively underdeveloped.Great potential, quiet, cosy with good, nicely served food, BUT terrible, slow, and grumpy service (woman behind the bar killed the atmosphere)Dirty tables, cluttered patio.To reach the cafe, you must pass the overflowing, stinky, rubbish bins. It could be nicely fenced up...Food served only till 2pm. The cafe is vegetarian menu only, but you will find out only at the bar, as nowhere outside this info is visible.Overall, food ok, but very low standard.

I don't know if I'm being a little harsh on giving the food a three star because it was bad it wasn't great it seemed to have been microwaved and bland I had the eggs on toast. The pot of tea was fine. The service was fine and it was a a nice idea to be able to open a tab. I have eaten in better places but I would go again to try something else. The toilets at the venue there was only one and it was decorated in chipboard. I'd like to go for music and drink one night so hopefully update review then.

We went for lunch here they stop serving food at 2 so we were lucky enough to get there in time. Had fab poached egg cooked to perfection and pot of tea. I also had a loose leaf tea later that was lovely and a treat. Plenty cake on offer too that was tempting they also serve alcohol and a range of hot drinks. Plenty of veggie options really enjoyed the food and didn’t miss meat at all. Will be coming back for some of the event events they’ve got on. Great vibe and friendly staff.

Amazing small gig venue: they only have bands on that play original music and always quality, some big names too. Great beers, super-friendly staff and involved in loads of community activity. Best live PA sound I've heard at a small venue by a distance, just brilliant!

This is a lovely place, The staff are all friendly and will go out of their way to do anything for you. Food here is amazing, from the breakfasts to the home made cakes. It can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit but that just goes to show how good they are. Foods cooked to perfection and are vegan and vegetarian friendly. We call in after a walk and get a cold drink and a slice of cake. They have several different options like Carrot cake, lemon drizzle, victoria sponge and chocolate cake. They have other options every now and then but all are very good.

Went there for a gig, loved it. Great atmosphere,great beers. Good service. Will be looking out for there forthcoming gigs to attend again.

Great playlist/music, coffee, atmosphere and service. Menu is vegetarian but still a good amount of choice and generous portions. Fast/reliable Wi-Fi if wanting to do some work too!
