Greggs

Not many places to stop off for a cuppa & a snack, with eat-in options in Bootle Strand these day's. Only a handful of tables here, so if you're lucky enough to get one, can't go wrong with a pasty & a drink from a well-known chain/ brand.

Can't beat this Greggs, staff are always super friendly, the food is always fresh and whenever I bring my toddlers in, they're always sure to be greeted by the staff behind the counter. Always a nice place to stop by for a snack and My kids always beg me to go back and see the Greggs lady""

I went here this morning (Thursday 24th December 2020) and was shocked at the poor service I recieved.With it being Christmas Eve, I wanted a nice Gregg's breakfast, choosing a Sausage Baguette and a refreshing pure orange juice to drink. Yet, I recieve a surprise when I open the bag after leaving the shopping centre. It turned out that there were three sausages and two eggs.Seriously, I am sick and tired of people not being able to follow basic instructions. On the other hand, I was not shocked that I was given the incorrect item, considering that the ignorant staff were too busy joking around with each other rather than focussing on the order they were being paid to prepare.Also, I find it rather concerning that this happened, as I may not have looked before consuming and I may have been allergic to egg. Luckily, I'm not, but somebody else could be.The staff here need to take a look at their counterparts up in Crosby. They provide much better service and they can listen to customers.Quite frankly appalling, I would give it zero stars if I could.

Staff here are very nice and the food ls always good!

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is excellent. The place is spotlessly clean. There is a nice little area for sitting in. It is a valuable part of the community not just the shopping centre.

Quality hot and cold snacks and nice coffees....quick food on the go can't complain

Lovely food. Snacks and treats. Can't fault it. Reasonable prices. Perfect for picking up some lunch when working through the week.

Always great food, my server had no interest in me and spoke to her colleague the whole time I was trying to order. They should reinstate their seating area.

I finally decided to jump on the bandwagon and try their vegan sausage rolls.I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't tell it wasn't real sausage meat, and even found them to be more favourable.I think I'll definitely be ordering these in the future when I treat myself to a cheeky roll.
