DHL Parcel UK Depot

Yet again DHL don’t bother turning up. Waited all day: tracked them and they were 2 stops away. Yet again couldn’t be bothered coming up the lane so didn’t deliver the parcel I needed today. Lazy drivers. Depot doesn’t answer the phone. The same will keep happening as it’s happened before. Horrendous service.

They prearranged by email an hour slot. Instead they turn up hours earlier and leave an undated , unsigned note, saying I wasn't at home. Really!!. Rearranged for next day delivery, same thing happened. I am paying for their trouble, for a delivery. I have booked a third redelivery. A shocking service.

Had received our parcel from a third party. And sent it back because they couldn't be bothered delivering it. For 2 weeks the tracking said it would be out tomorrow. Don't waste your breath on these amateurs.

Not even worth one star but had to put something! Terrible service. Parcel been out for delivery since 24th February, every day out for delivery, every day returned to depot without attempting delivery. Promised for 6pm today, received a message at 7pm saying delivery refused.....by who? Certainly not tried to deliver to me!! Absolutely disgusting service

Receive a text to say my parcel is out for delivery and if no one is in they will try a neighbour. Did they bother? No. Claim they couldn’t access my address never mind leave it with a neighbour. To save them any further difficulty I rearranged to have it delivered to one of their service points the day after and they haven’t even bothered to load it onto the van. The fact that there has been no genuine attempt is so frustrating, I dread it when I see companies have used DHL as their courier.

Better than them coming to you and not being in. Better than going to some dodgy drop off point in town. Go to them when it suits. Decent parking, pleasant waiting area, polite efficient staff.

I don't really know how much to blame them, based on my one off experience, hence still giving 3 stars, not 2.I was there to drop off a parcel. It was important for me so I chose to drive for 40 min, and it took 50 because of an incident on motorway.But then I had to spend another 55 min at DHL reception, despite that I was the only person they were serving.. The guy at reception was no doubt trying to help, but seems he misunderstood when I asked for DHL packaging to pack my parcel, he thought I didn't have paperwork printed... with this misunderstanding, over 20 minutes were wasted. The manager was called on my request. She never asked me if I had printed the labels [ I had everything with me] , and she was about to let me go with a very routine apology.. I was lucky to suddenly guess why they were insisting that either I come back the next day or leave my stuff with them 'trusting that they will label next day and send' .. For me that was unacceptable and absurd. I realised where the misunderstanding was and assured them if they just have packaging, I already have all labels and documents [this was an international consignment]. To my relief they admitted they had this misunderstanding somehow. Even after all this, it took another 25 minutes for them to finally complete the task.I'm absolutely not upset with them. Misunderstandings happen. We're all humans. I hope it's not their routine. I'm happy I didn't have to make another trip the next day. I did feel that an hour to do all this is still a lot of time for one small parcel.It wasn't a busy place. Two more people came came in that time.. they seemed to be their couriers. And possibly one person to pick their parcel.I would still recommend this place. And yes, works are going on at the moment but still entrance is good.

Absolutely shocking lied to at least 8 times in 4 days what a joke. I was waiting for a next day delivery, depot have made no attempt to deliver just lied and lied. They upgraded my service to Sat AM delivery to ensure I got the parcel but once again the depot did nothing, not even loaded it onto a van. I'll be down Tuesday to confront DHL Middleton I am sick to death of been fobbed off with a apology followed by a blatant lie to get me off there back. Until they find my parcel and refund my delivery cost I'm not going nowhere.

Went to the service counter at 8am this morning. The guy there was extremely helpful and polite. I went in to rectify a mistake that I'd made through no fault of DHL, I wasnt actually expecting to come out with my parcel, and he sorted it out for me within 10 minutes. Fantastic customer service.

Waited 2 days for delivery after receiving messages to state my parcel is out for delivery with no communication from dhl really un impressed
