Parcelforce Worldwide - Gatwick Depot

Attempted delivery on Monday, I was not in. Left card to say would re deliver next day Tuesday, it wasn't. Telephoned on Thursday to find out where it was to find out it would actually be delivered on Friday andcwas by the postman because Parcelforce are do backlogged, no staff and deliveries pilled up at the Gatwick depot just not being delivered.

Absolutely useless company, if you want your parcel delivered don't use these guys. Impossible to contact and if you manage to get hold of someone they won't help you

Never ever send any parcel with Parcelforce if you don’t want it to be lost! I shipped a camera worth over £1500 to Ireland. It didn’t go through customs so they were supposed to return it back to me. After waiting over 2 months with no response from them, they delivered it to wrong address even though the address was clearly stated on the package. They sent me £100 cheque as a compensation and denied to pay the actual amount of the camera. So I lost £1500. Do not trust them!

Very disapoining .my parcel arrived twice in uk.they será it back to the sender. How should I l know that the parcel in UK where Parcel force never contact it us no message no nothing. Guys please do some improvements. Its your busines and work placeKind regards

I honestly don’t understand Parcel Force.I would argue that most of us work nowadays, so, whenever a parcel is due to be delivered, 99% of the time I won’t be in to receive it.Nevertheless, they tried to deliver my parcel yesterday whilst I was working, so they attempted to deliver it today between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. I had someone ready to collect it but they decided to turn up at 2:00pm instead, thus unable to deliver it once again.It has now been returned to the Gatwick depot for collection, which is a 45 minute drive away.It wasn’t clear at first, and it appeared that there were simply no options for me to leave it with a neighbour, post office or safe space UNLESS I signed up to their ridiculous phone app.I’ve now booked a redelivery for tomorrow, but God knows if that will turn up as there’s no confirmation text or email to confirm this.I tried to call them for peace of mind but everything is automated so you can never get through to a real human who will be able to just hopefully help.

Parcel force often use owner drivers however our parcel driver didn't leave a red notice of attempted delivery on both occasions which meant I had no idea he had been. This meant waiting in all day the next day's for a driver not to appear. I wasn't informed by the sender either when they posted. The Parcel force app is also confusing. Luckyly, and i think only PF would do this, I got a phone call asking me if I wanted a redelivery or collect. This meant actually driving the 25 miles to Gatwick to pick up the crucial vehicle component I needed to fix my van so i could get back to work. All this took a week for a parcel that only came 40 miles away.

Absolutely outstanding.I have been up for 13 hours writing this. Was notified that my parcel was being returned to the depot because the idiot seller entered ONE LETTER off on my parcel so it was almost shipped to Southampton. I got off at Gatwick, has to navigate the complicated garage ana tunnels, got to the depot with 10 minutes to spare. The man at the depot was not only attentive, he was very kind and understanding. His name was Barry, his colleague Will stated what happened- wrong post code which meant it almost went to Southampton not Brighton. They said the parcel could have been lost but they found it, even working after 7 when they finish to find it.This parcel is worth 16k, it’s a 2019 Louis Vuitton varsity jacket the fact they found it was utterly fantastic and EXCELLENT. You should promote Barry and William for their service.

Won't leave in a safe space, won't call me because company doesn't issue mobile phones".. these days it's just a poor excuse I'm sorry.. essentially anything that doesn't get spoon fed to them they won't do. I have left notes

Went online to get them to leave with a neighbour after a missed delivery, they decided not to do that. Didn't have the common sense to leave it at the post office a minute Walk from the house. Nope back to Gatwick to be delivered again. Useless

Excellent service I’d expect nothing less from you Parcelforce!Extraordinarily overpriced and broken products thanks.By the way, Saturday delivery is excellent when you turn up don’t give enough time to open the door and drive off taking my parcel and leaving a card that says nothing except your signature that it will be taken back to a depot that you can’t collect which was the main reason for having Saturday delivery.... Because I needed it on Saturday.
