We had a large oriental wool rug that cost £600 however it had seen a lot of use with 3 little ones growing up and throwing up etc... They have now thankfully grown out of that so it was time to call for some professional help. Andi (Captain Rugwash) came and advised that it was worth cleaning up, took it away for a week and returned it looking brand new #amazingservice Would highly recommend Andi to anybody looking to get a rug cleaned up especially as a new one can be so expensive, why not clean the old one and get that looking new again... RUDE, very unprofessional to laugh at someone down the phone when enquiring about your services!

DO NOT USE this company! Andi Hill Son of the parents company ECS and him as captain rug wash took away from my home a very large and beautiful handmade rug. It needed a light clean as my recently deceased dog had been sick on it.It was returned to me three weeks later, damp , some areas have not been cleaned and many new areas with the beige border are now covered in brown rusty coloured splash marks, and in other areas of the border had completely changed colour. Mr Hill was unable to tell me why the rug was damp after three weeks also what had happened to the rug and where did these marks come from. He shrugged his shoulders left and my house slamming the door.I have written a letter of complaint to the parent company and they haven’t even bothered to reply .Mrs Hill, who I spoke to after her son used my rug for advertising without my consent . A Hill actually put derogatory comments about this on his Facebook page. Mrs Hill promised me that she would take care of my rug and accept full responsibility for it’s safe keeping!!! That obviously did not happen.Please take photographs of any property that leaves your house if you are expecting to have it returned in good condition.A hill and his company have proved to be very unreliable, unprofessional and have destroyed something quite beautiful that has been cared for for a very long time. What is worse is that they don’t accept responsibility for their actions, they just don’t care!1/10/2019. Your response below to my letter and review is appalling. It is the only contact you have had the decency to make with me in all this time since Mr a hill wrecked my rug. Of course I am not going to except your offer of cleaning the rug again because the stains that he applied have been proven as you know by an independent rug cleaner to be permanent . A Hill knows how they came to be on there ! Perhaps he has confessed to you how he did it perhaps he hasn’t but as you’re supposed to be professionals you can probably guess what he did as was suggested by my independent professional rug cleaner he had piled all the rugs on top of mine cleaned them and the dye had soaked into my rug and to get rid of those stains he over cleaned the rug causing further damage.You have offered to make a donation to a charity of my choice, why? Why would you do that? You have not been paid £300 you had my rug for three weeks which you supposedly cleaned and now you want to make a donation to charity. This does not seem like the action of a company who is innocent . This seems like the action of a company who wants to get rid of this complaint by any means possible except of course for being straight with a customer who trusted you with their treasured possession and just wants to know what you have done to the rug and how it can be put right .I asked for the photographs before and after cleaning you have not had the decency to show them to me, so I ask again please send the before photographs of the cleaning of my rug by your son to me.What an incredibly shoddy business you run damaging peoples property ignoring them not putting things right not contacting them you should be so ashamed of yourself you probably aren’t!

Had Andi around to clean my front room carpet because we have a couple of dogs and after some very knowledgeable advise and a good clean I would recommend Andi all day and to anyone who would like a very professional & friendly service.
