I've been getting clothes altered here for a few years now and it's great. I've had jeans shortened, dresses fitted, sleeves changed and hems fixed. My friend and I also got her wedding dress and my bridesmaid dress altered here and it was a great job. The price is always reasonable and she can work fast if needed. I'll always take my clothes here to be fixed

I have had several alterations done at this business including a complete remake of a jumpsuit because the top was too loose.It was a Coast Jumpsuit, and there was no evidence it had been altered. Barbara did a superb job, and the fit was perfectHer prices are extremely fair and affordable and she is very approachable for ideas. Great overall experience.

Excellent wee shop. The lady Barbara is so helpful she is a very experienced seamstress. Ive taken multiple garments here to be altered, tops dresses skirts. Also a frayed torn dress which was repaired, unnoticeable. I'm due to visit again with summer tops I want adjusted to a crop style!

I first took a dress here to be taken in after I'd lost weight. Since then I've had a bridesmaid dress altered, jeans altered, tops fixed, dresses altered and hems fixed. The service has always been great, the quality of the work high and price is reasonable. The lady working here has always had a smile on her face and does great work

I got the back of my short shortened, which only cost £8 at the time of this review. I can't even tell it has been amended and they did it on the same day.In addition, the staff were friendly - so the whole experience very good.Thanks

This lady is fantastic! Impeccable work, very reasonable prices all completed in a very timely manner.I have had everything from trousers shortened to an evening dress refitted. Could not recommend more highly!!

There is nothing Barbara can’t do! She’s a skilled and kind seamstress that I would recommend to any and all friends. She’s got a whip fast turn around rate and excellent customer care. Her dry cleaning services are also top marks. Even best - prices are so affordable. Top Dalry/Gorgie Tailor without a shadow of a doubt !

Terrible experience, would not recommend to anyone. Highly unprofessional and unreliable. Went in to get something important tailored for a special trip away, they explained they could do it and needed a week. Fast forward a week, I return to them unapologetically telling me that they didn't do it, but decided not to tell me until then and keep it for the whole week. Now I have no time to go elsewhere to get it tailored :(
