Thank you so much for an amazing experience! I came to the salon a little bit unsure about what I wanted but luckily at the end of the appointment I was so happy with the dresses and the way the girls talked me through the process of getting and adjusting one. Really helped me to feel more prepared and organised! The dresses are absolutely stunning!

From the moment I booked my appointment to finding 'the' dress both Bree and Elena made me feel very special. No knowing what I wanted or what style they found the perfect dress for me. They are so friendly and accommodating with appointment changes etc. I cannot wait to come back once Elena has altered my perfect dress. Thank you ladies.

I wasn’t happy with my appointment unfortunately. I was put in dresses that were 3 sizes to big for me with no clips available to clip me in and was asked to imagine what it would look like if it fit. The door bell didn’t work so I was waiting for 15minutes in the rain. I wasn’t helped much in/out of the changing rooms and there was a dog allowed to walk around. Overall the service wasn’t very professional which really put me off considering any dresses seriously.

The first appointment I had I was told they would be very flexible with me because of my financial situation. We agreed on an amount that I could afford. The second appointment I had they completely went back on there word and told me I had to pay an extortionate amount up front and then ridiculously high monthly payments which they knew full well I can’t afford. They made me fall in love with a dress and gave me false hope. I would not recommend to anyone to go here and I will keep clear of this shop in the future.

I had alterations rather than buying the dress from here (bought my dress second hand). Elena is like a fairy godmother - I looked like I was wearing a lacey sheet the first time but when I returned post-alterations I looked like a princess! It was hard believing it was the same dress. AND all the alterations were done so quickly. Really impressed, a really friendly team.

Amazing experience at Occasions of West Street. They have a great range of bridesmaid dresses - huge range of colours, sizes, and all customisable. The assistant was also lovely and put us all at ease. All round an excellent shop and couldn’t recommend them enough. If I could give them more stars, I would.

*UPDATE. I said YES to the dress. Elena did her magic on the alterations and the dress is perfect! I cant wait to wear it on my special day. Thank you so much to both Elena and Bree for all your help and guidance! Dream team*My mum and i had a lovely appointment trying on multiple dresses of different styles. We were the only ones in the shop so felt very important and had Elena and Brees undivided attention. They were both very helpful and knowledgeable. Elenas keen eye on the details and what alterations could be done was great and helped me envisage what the dress could look like when fitted. Highly recommend.

An unexpected gem of a store. Both ladies were very body positive and welcoming, supportive and able to give valuable advice about changes that the seamstress would be able to do. Although it would be good to have more plus size dresses available to try on I know that this is not possible with every design and style. The ladies were brilliant at making them work. Thankyou
