First time in a while id visited the park with my 2 children and it was full of glue bags.. used needles.. smelt of very strong urine around the gym equipment.. bins overflowing.. and other bins torn off the stands.. equipment broken, damaged and covered in graffiti.. this is an unacceptable unsuitable environment for children and im ashamed that people potentially young adults/teenagers more then likely could do this, our children cannot enjoy this in the state it is and its dangerous harbouring used needles, glue bags, smashed glass ect! Shame on those people it should be a safe enjoyable environment

This playing field was named in memory of Barbara Robson, who died in 1925 of meningitis, aged 12. These fields were bought and donated by the Robson family to be used by the people of Sutton in Barbara's memory. In later years, after the closure of the railway, a children's playground was added, and the green area extended eastwards beyond the line of the old railway. Many fairs, pageants and celebration events have been held here in the century or so since.

Years of mass teens hanging around the park at night. At one point there were fires early every night. Our car got torched in the carpark and numerous issues with vandalism. Used to be a nice psrk
