Caerphilly Castle
Huge castle, really awesome. It could do with some more information boards around the place. We got a free guide book as some of the castle is closed off to the public for work being done. The staff were lovely, very helpful & informative. We will definitely visit again. One negative, there was still signs everywhere with covid restriction directions, which got a little confusing at times, especially for the kids who kept telling me 'we can't go that way"

Remarkable but if history on full view. We were greeted in the gift shop by Tom and enthusiastic employee who really is an ambassador for the sight. We decided to join CADW, which we were able to do so in the shop. We were able to walk through the castle with only one restriction to the courtyard as work was being done. There is also a path outside that circles the castle. This makes a great day trip from other areas as there is a train station in Caerphilly. Quaint town with shops and restaurants to round out your visit. Highly recommend and we will be back

Caerphilly Castle
The castle was being repaired on our visit so sections of it were closed, because of this we were given a free guide book.The size of the castle is impressive, but not much to see inside. There's a good view from the tower, but you cannot go to the very top although there are new stairways in place.

Caerphilly Castle
A great example of Welsh Hisyory. Some parts are out of bounds at the moment as it is currently undergoing renovations however you are still able to see the majority of the castle. Can't wait to go back once the work is completed.

Beautiful and very impressive castle Tim the staff at the door was so helpfull .Unfortunately (and fortunately ) the castle is under restoration so there was a few minor restrictions . We done 2 castles in one day here and the other castel coch 14 mins drive away made my trip to Wales worth it

Caerphilly Castle
A very pretty castle with beautiful surroundings and views of Wales. The castle itself is empty and does not have much to offer, most of it was under renovation and rooms are pretty much empty. We paid 15.00 for two student tickets and received a free guidebook. I must say the staff is lovely, welcoming and informative

A nice place to stop and visit while visiting South Wales. I was informed that Caerphilly is the second largest castle in the Uk next to Windsor so i definitely recommend a visit here. The reason why i have awarded 4 stars is because i felt like the interior route could have been marked better since there were moments i wasn't sure i had seen it all. Also i wish the interior had more areas to learn or read instead of having to read from the book that was given to me at the entrance. Apart from this i recommend the visit.

Charming town. We had very good weather and we were lucky to visit this beautiful town on a fair day. All in all a very nice experience .The car park is close by and there are lots of cafes and restaurants. Good location for a day out

Caerphilly Castle
I love castles and the history around them - so generally I will always rate them highly. This is the 2nd largest castle in UK after Windsor and it has so much history wrapped into it - loved it.
