Amies Alterations

Just picked up my wedding dress from Amie and it fits beautifully, really happy with the results. She went through everything with me so I know what I'm doing the day before and the day of to get rid of any creases etc. Can't wait for the wedding now!

I can’t emphasise how much I’d recommend Amie, she really was everything and more! Professionally, she sorted every detail with my dress to perfection. Then on top of that she listened to what I wanted adding and made custom sleeves for me, they were beyond anything I had imagined! To fully trust someone with your dress is a big deal, but Amie takes what you think you’ll look like on your big day and elevates it to another level! Not only is she highly knowledgeable and skilful - but on a personable level she’s easy to talk to, empathetic and kind. No last minute changes were too stressful or too much, she only wants you to feel 100% perfect! I enjoyed my wedding day fully confident!

After buying my dress from Ava Rose Hamilton, Amie was one of the recommended seamstresses closest to home.First appointment booked and I was a little apprehensive; I’d seen another bride in the same dress as I’d bought (it didn’t look great) and was nervous about how my dress would look in comparison.Amie made me feel so comfortable and understood what I needed and how to make the changes to make my dress perfect.Amie even managed to squeeze in my Maid of Honour’s dress alterations too!Second fitting was great and the dress fit, a few tweaks but getting there.Final fitting came and I was so nervous; I didn’t think the dress would fit…but it did. It fit PERFECTLY! I am thrilled and it was such a weight taken off my mind and I love how it fits me so well.Amie has done and amazing job and I would 100% recommend her to anyone that needs a dress altering!Thank you so much Amie; can’t wait to post pictures!!x

Amie was absolutely amazing from start to finish, she made me feel so comfortable from our very first conversation to my final fitting. I had 4 fittings with her and nothing I suggested was too much hassle, she was honest, open to suggestions, problem solving and made me feel so special each time. She also reassured me that my dress would be absolutely perfect on the day and she was right! It fit like a glove and I couldn’t have been happier with how it looked, I felt amazing!She even went out of her way to help me with getting my veil embroidered less than a week before the wedding! It can be incredibly stressful leading upto the big day but she was a very calming influence.She is absolutely incredible in what she does and every bride should feel comfortable knowing they are in safe hands with Amie. Amie was amazing from start to finish. She was so lovely and really helped to set my mind at ease straight away. Every appointment felt like going to see a friend. She is incredible at what she does. I had lost a lot of weight between buying my dress and going for my first appointment with Amie, so i was worried that parts of the dress might not be able to be altered as well as I had hoped, but Amie did a perfect job. I was so happy with the end result. We found a small manufacturing issue with the dress during one of my fittings but luckily Amie had the exact same lace on hand to be able to fix the issue which saved me a huge amount of stress. I would recommend her to anyone needing wedding dress alterations!
