We had a standard Lamb and Mint Oggie each. Two tiny pieces of lamb in both, a lump of gristle in mine, mostly gravy and not much veg either, paid £6.90.

The COVID-19 queue didn't deter me from getting into this Oggie shop. Finally let loose and pondered. Which to choose from the many!? Bought a lamb, mint and gravy pie here. Incredible sized pie. Nice price. Delicious food. I have to go back for more!

I've read some of the excellent reviews and I must say that we must have got them on a bad day. We both agreed that these were some of the worst pies we'd ever had. We both had the lamb and mint pies. The pastry was dry, the filling was dry with no hint of mint at all and I was unfortunate enough to have all the flavouring in one little corner of the pie, which was too salty. It was one of those times where one wished one hadn't eaten it all, but I guess we were hoping that it would improve. We both left a big chunk of the pastry though. I'll certainly never go back for more.

Stopped for something for dinner today after a 2 night stay at Cambrian house, both establishments superb and the large beef Oggie was amazing

Simply the best of the best ever pies and pastries. Really GOOD quality. The scotch egg (apple and sage) was the best I have tasted. A must go to if you are in Wales.

Delicious vegan veggie sausage roll, piping hot and served by lovely staff. Also got a salted caramel brownie which was super moist and very decadent. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Llangollen

Having two family members trying to buy food from this shop ' The rudeness from the chap behind the counter was unbelievable. And yes we do have London accent s' But Welsh grandparents form Holywell in Wales. And to be talked down to like that is not ideal 'And driving 3hrs down and 3hrs back'its not the Welsh welcome you expected. But ended up getting better service and nicer fair in the butchers in Chirk.
