UPS Abingdon

Really poor service. Repeatedly failed to deliver over 4 days (and counting), and I still haven't got my parcel! Customer service representatives are polite but not able to tell me anything beyond whats already on the website. Promised call backs don't happen. Management is notable by its absence from the process. I would not choose to use UPS again.

overall, UPS is good... the problem is when the parcel arrives at Abingdon UPS... Parcels NEVER arrives in time... reschedules without reason, no updates... worst ever... Even DPD is more reliable.

Their best time slot for an express delivery was ‘by the end of the day’. Don’t leave with a neighbour. Next available delivery (it’s Sat) is Tuesday. Useless. Use DPD

I have had a horrific experience with UPS.I ordered an item through ebay, each attempt at delivery I was in the property to which I wasn't in the property.I have attempted contact with UPS on several occasions and been unable to get through. Only now on the day my item was being sent back I was able to get through to customer services to be informed that my item is being returned!The delivery notification has sent the delivery was returned to my address to which to I never received any items.I will contact trading standards regards above as I never received an item in the first place.

Horrendous service. Waited in 2 days in a row, hadn’t been delivered although they put on the system attempted delivery. Called up over 6 times told I would get a phone call with in the hour no one tried to call me. 7th time I called up I was promised it would be with me by 8am the next working day. Did it arrive… No! Someone has put on the system that I requested it for the 11th April to be delivered. So I’ve now had to cancel 2 days worth of clients to wait in, and loose out on another 2 days of clients because I haven’t got the stock. Appalling service and full of lie’s.

Completely useless. Makes me realize they don’t have anyone working there. 4 days late on their delivery and still don’t have an update on my delivery. The Abingdon depot is only 18 minutes from my place.

I've been chasing a package for weeks now. In the end I drove 40 miles to ups Abingdon. A nice woman took down my details and went to find my parcel. She came back and said it was on the van for delivery. Guess what..no parcel. I rode out again doing a 80 mile round trip and low and behold my parcel was there. Your company is incompetent to say the least and I will make sure you get no future business from me. Grace on the desk at Abingdon was a lovely helpful person and this dismal review is no reflection on her

Utterly appalling experience. Recently I made a high value purchase which arrived at UPS Abingdon. A week of 'expected delivery' windows with no actual delivery attempts at all. Unable to schedule a collection as you can't until they've 'attempted delivery'. So I just have to keep waiting and hope it shows up and doesn't get lost in the ether.Called to speak with the Abingdon depot, told it would be put in the van tomorrow for priority. Did it arrive the next day? Of course not. This happened the next day as well - called, was told it would be put on the van priority next day. No delivery. Third day, requested callbacks three times over the day, each time being told someone would call back in an hour. No call came. No delivery came. Finally got fed up and went down to the depot to demand they just hand it over.The staff at the counter were hopeless. Not a shred of customer service between them. The lady who served me kept saying things like 'obviously' and repeating the same nonsense I'd been told for days. Magically the driver can drop it at a collection point on the other side of town in 10 mins. Why couldn't he deliver it hours ago within the expected window then?Asked to speak to the manager who was just as unhelpful. Not an apology, or a reassuring word between them. I explained I wanted to make a complaint and was referred (for the umpteenth time) to the UPS Call Centre number. What a joke. Utterly useless.

It’s a horrible experience for usp ! This my first time to write a review!!I suppose get the parcel on Monday , then delay until Tuesday, and I ring CS again and again, they promised will get today , of course, it’s never happened! And I called again said my address don’t right , no way , too much excuses,until Friday I still not get the parcel, I drove to the UPS office, get my parcel , the box totally broke and opened it , I saw my stuff looks ok ! After I went home ! And open it properly, they steal the inside small pouch ( Louis Vuitton)!!!!what ! I can’t believe it ! And after 2 weeks , I don’t hear anything from them ! And before happed , why the driver said don’t find my address..(because have time to steal the pouch and repacked it??) Never use ups again!!so disappointed

Always a pleasant experience and handy they stay open until 8pm ! I have been using the abingdon depot for around 8 years and never had a single problem.
