The Robin's Nest
First to arrive on a Sunday morning so the service was fast and friendly! Great latte and scones (variety with clottede cream and jam) and biscoff slice were amazing. The place did fill up quite fast however. Lacking a little in atmosphere with no music playing so it was quite quiet. Clean toilets. Reasonable price (£13 for two coffees and cakes). Parking is on street. Close to the station if you wanted to grab something to eat while waiting.

Gorgeous little tea room in a lovely little village. Good choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Selection of sandwiches, toasties and cakes. All homemade! Staff attentive and welcoming.

We stopped at the robin’s nest during a cycling trip. It was such a hard and rainy day. We found a comforting place with good cakes coffee and tea. The waitresses were super nice it really was a light in my day. Would recommend without any hesitation !

Excellent service, they were so kind to us tourists. The toasties were fabulous and the scone with jam & clotted cream were high quality and fresh. We loved this stop for breakfast! Thank you for the sweet hospitality.

Went in to enquire if they were dog friendly. Stood for a good few minutes and was totally ignored. There was a lady waiting for takeaway food and we got chatting she said they wanted what we wanted, to bring their dog in and got told no, so my question was answered so no dog no takeaway order. We take our dog everywhere because he is so well behaved you wouldn't know he was there, but rules are rules and customer service lacking we will never know if the food was better!
