My current washing machine packed up after 4 years (I'd bought this from another island business, not here, whom assured me it was mid range etc) I considered 4 years use ok, but having started out with PCB issue, I didn't fancy the same make.I wanted to support an island business again & for some years, I have been taking my vacuum cleaners to 'Live wire' for services also buying a toaster (which has been brilliant) I thought I'd buy my new washing machine here.I'm so pleased I popped in;The owner couldn't have been more helpful, listening to what my requirements were and explaining the machines he had to offer.Within 10 minutes I had chosen and purchased my model at a reasonable price.I often become overwhelmed by the excessive choice in larger stores and online. 'Live Wire' has just the right amount of goods to find what you need without blowing your mind.I can't rate the owner high enough, always very helpful, and exceptionally knowledgeable with a friendly approach.I hope islanders continue to support this local business, as it is such an asset to us.

Dyson hoover needed new cord excellent service and very reasonable even gave it a clean out couldn't be happier

Just rang to get some info regards a vacuum cleaner, lovely man I spoke to couldn't be more helpfull. Will definately be popping in to buy one in next couple weeks. Highly recommend on customer service alone.

We had a new dishwasher from live wire , bought on Wednesday delivered and fitted on Friday wonderful service .when we couldn’t understand the controls they came on Monday and explained the correct buttons to push. Very pleased with the service .have used them before and would definitely use them again

Wonderful service, washing machine broke down saturday, went to livewire on monday, the new machine was delivered and installed on tuesday. You cant get better service than that.

If I could give this shop 10 stars I would, absolutely fantastic service and reasonably priced. I had a 240v to 110v transformer with a broken switch, not only did they find me a better switch they fitted it as well in under 1 hour. Fantastic!

What a lovely company to deal with. Collected my built in microwave, fixed it, and returned and fitted it. Good communication. Very fair price. Delighted and would highly recommended this company.
