Well set up sanctuary. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Has a well stocked charity shop and a great cafe with quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. They provide breakfast and lunch and even do traditional Sunday lunch.

Wonderful place, staff are so nice and friendly , and work hard, we adopted IVY ❤️ no pressure at all like some other charities, we took ivy home and she is as described, she had a quick investigate of her new forever home and settled in straight away, so so pleased we chose her. Thanks guys for a pleasurable experience.

Thornberry is amazing! The staff are incredible kind and hard working, the animals are all well taken care of, and the food is great too! They have a wide range of different items including clothing, animal food/equipment, pottery, etc. I absolutely love this sanctuary and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a got a love for animals and their wellbeing. It is most definitely worth a visit!

They are so helpful and kind and can't thank them enough for what they did for my dog. Bless all the workers and volunteers for their time and effort they give to help all the animals they take in and rehome. You are all doing a wonderful job. Thanks again.

Absolutely amazing place! The people are very knowledgeable have a great understanding of both animal and owners just amazing how you apply and based on what's said ect they choose the best possible new owner so each person is hand picked for each animal, couldn't be happier with our new dog she is nothing but amazing the people at Thornbury did their Absolute best in looking after our new addition!

Fantastic place to get our dog from. The staff and volunteers really care for the animals. They get to know the animals so you know what you are getting. All the medicals done and even contacted us a few days later to see that all is going well.
