Great local pub in Mitcham; friendly staff and great atmosphere. Very dog friendly, too. Always have a great time whenever I pop in for a pint with my pooch Dexter.

Visited for the first time with some friends after work. What an absolute gem of a pub! One of the few “proper pubs” left in the area. We were made to feel so welcome by the staff and regulars. Really friendly atmosphere. Food was lovely and drinks are really good price. We made the most of the juke box which is another rare find these days. Live bands and open mic nights were advertised. Dog and child friendly. Beer garden which we were told is fab in the summer, a proper sun trap. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you so much for a brilliant evening. Definitely be returning!

If you are looking for a good place to drink, I would recommend gardeners arms. The prices are very good even if you compare it to Wetherspoons, they serve food which I pretty tasty presentation is pretty good also. They have separate jukeboxes so if you want to choose songs for yourself you can which it also has online connectivity through an app so you are not restricted to using cash.They also have capacity to host functions or events there with a functional BBQ area in the beer garden.The staff are always friendly and provides excellent service.Only real downside to this venue is that there is no parking onsite so you would have to find a space away from the pub.

Had a fabulous afternoon in the Gardiners with friends for my partners birthday great atmosphere and great food Ursula and Sam and Rachel nothing was to much trouble thank and well done for giving us a great day we loved it

This is the most wonderful pub! The atmosphere here is unreal, and the landlady Ursula is wicked. Definitely worth a visit

Popped in here for the first time on Friday after seeing the pub had supported the Friends of Figges Marsh" bulb planting project. It's an old school pub with real charm and lovely staff. A very enjoyable evening
