I have been a client of Helens for many years now, and for very good reason!Sadly she doesn’t offer all the treatments I have had previously (lash extensions, massage, waxing to name a few), which has made it incredibly hard to find an alternative therapist given the standard of her work!Of her current treatments though… after years of using completely wrong skin products I bit the bullet and had a consultation, and purchased the “correct” products on her recommendation of what my skin actually needed.Game changer!I can’t begin to say what a difference it has made to my skin, I only wish I’d done it years ago but hey its never too late to make a positive change.Helen is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and highly skilled; you are definitely in safe hands and its clear why she is multi-award-winning!

My consultation was really thorough and informative. Having an autoimmune condition which leaves my skin with patchy red blotches Helen went through so much with me and reassured me with her knowledge and expertise. Highly recommend.

I have just finished a course of hair removal treatments, and whilst I may need to book one or two further sessions in future as advised, I am extremely happy with the results and as always, think Helen is one of the warmest, friendliest of people I know. This was my first treatment at Velvet Beauty Studio as I have just moved to the area and was still on the lookout for a beautician I was comfortable with. I booked a 30 min CACI jowl lift, and was extremely happy with the results. Helen put me at ease and was very friendly and professional, the salon is spotless and I will definitely be booking a course of treatments in the near future.

I booked an appointment with Helen (which was very easy) and she kept communicating with me before my visit. She took time to explain my procedure at my appointment and gave me skincare advice afterwards. She is very friendly and efficient and I can thoroughly recommend her.

Helen answered the door as soon as I arrived and showed me to the treatment room, it was lovely and warm with nice relaxing music. Helen was lovely, really informative and explained the full process for the Signature Caci facial which was super relaxing and not uncomfortable in the slightest. Iv now booked a course to see the full benefits :)

I had mistaken the date and time of my appointment so ended up arriving at least half an hour late to my appointment and in spite of this, Helen still managed to fit me in and she was so lovely and understanding, Helen made me feel completely at ease! We had a lovely conversation about our pets while she was waxing me, and this was only the second time I’d had an intimate wax but Helen made me feel so relaxed, and the waxing itself was painless. I would highly recommend Helen, she’s amazing!
