Booked for mot and service, brother recommended, I got quoted £625. Got a call, need to change battery otherwise will not pass mot, busy at work, needing my car, I said go ahead. Went to collect, Paid £1180!!! Paid and left, as did not have much choice! Won't be using them again, scammers!

Absolutely amazing team I had a major oil leak over 2hrs from home at a car show called up 8.30 as they opened I explained my situation and they squeezed me in first thing to sort me out, and took extra care on not damaging and cleaning the oil mess from under it.

AVOID!! Shockingly poor service and lack of experienced staff.Looking at the latest comments I should have read before I visited.I recently purchased a car from a dealer further up North and the car had a rattle that needed checking out so I was authorised by the dealer to take it local garage for diagnosis, (I am a trained mechanic myself and it sounded like a loose heat shield but without a ramp I was struggling)I decided to take it to Autobarn as they appeared professional and as they were BMW specialists " I felt they would be trustworthyI took it in the night before as the noise was more prominent from cold. When I booked it in I mistakenly mentioned that Web searches had mentioned Turbo waste gate rattle (but this was the external linkage which I didn't mention)I had a call the next morning to say after driving

Went to get 19 plate GLA serviced, quoted £720 for an extensive list of jobs… I declined proceeding with this quote after consulting with another mechanic who said I was being scammed.. half the jobs not necessary and being charged well over.. was then made to pay £52 to retrieve my car because I chose not to have them to them do the suggested work, no notification of this charge prior to service.

Had my calliper stuck and had to take it in an emergency for these guys to check what the issue is, I also asked to change my spark plugs.These guys quoted me £700.00 to change callipers when the best callipers out there with labour is about £400.00, didn't even try to repair it or give a price for my current callipers to be repaired.Spark plug change , £3000.00!!! apparently one was snapped.Towed my car to another garage, and guess what, to fix the issue with my calliper and change my spark plug I paid a total of £50.00.Don't use these scammers ! don't recommend, look for another garage and don't waste your time.For these stupid prices I had to also pay £52.00, no report given back no information. just kept the car for 3 hours and then decided to give stupid prices.

MOT carried out the mechanic said there was a bolt missing from my front wheel, I had previously washed the car and wheels by had with all bolts in place. They then proceeded to charge £10 for a used bolt. (which was exactly the same as the bolts on my car). Looks like the mechanic wanted me to pay for his lunch. Can't recommend and won't go back.

Absolute waste of money.Had my car dropped there by AA after suspected snapped drive chain and engine damage. They quoted me approx. £9,000 to fix the chain plus replace the turbo and cam carrier. Value of the car is approx. £9,000. They went away an also got a price of £2000 for the car for parts. I found another company online who came and towed the car, did a full recondition of the engine, replaced the turbo and cam carrier for less than £2,000 inc VAT with a 6 month warranty. All work completed within 48 hours of receiving the car.Autobarn charged me £425 for diagnosing the fault - allegedly 5 hours of labour - and didn't even bother putting the engine parts back together but left them strewn across the back seat and boot.

Have used them twice in two years I brought a X5 4.8is that had been neglected so I first tried to replace the air suspension myself to of no avail and as the car was due a mot aswell I phoned then and arranged for my car to be dropped of for suspension work and some electrical issues that the car had recied the car back and all was fine I expected a few teathing issues which it had and everything it was not a problem for them to sort it outMove forward a year mot is due again so decided to book her in for mot full service gearbox service more electrical problems (but it is a 19 year old neglected car) again booked it straight in and just left it with them relieved the car back and its absolutely spot on would highly recommend Aaran and the team keep up the good work all

I don’t recommend this garage. My car broke down not far from there. I live in London. My car got towed there and I had to pay around £120 for them to check what was wrong, next day got phone call from them saying that it’s a strange fault and they have to check properly to find out what’s wrong and only for that will be another £500 …. I refused their service. I went there and pushed my car from their premises. My usual car mechanic went there to check my car and found that it was only the diesel pump wasn’t working and still managed temporary fix my car and actually drive it back down to London. And charge me only £500 for bringing it back home and to replace the pump. Where’s this garage wanted £500 for further diagnosis….. scammers
