Moved house today, I'm knackered but I had to take a minute to give a great review to Thompson Removals. The 2 guys arrived bang on time , smiling faces , ntroduced themselves and quietly set about the move. I didn't get the keys till 3.30 pm , thankfully I had taken out the late entry option so I was covered. They didn't finish till 5.45 ....on a Friday night , but never once did I feel they were rushing the job to get home. TBH I'm patting myself on the back for making the right choice for once.

Thomson Removals handled my recent move professionally and I would recommend them highly.A good price and excellent service from the office and removal staff.

So disappointed in the service we received from this company. Moving date arranged and confirmed and the boss" sent the poor guys on another errand before coming us resulting in me phoning them repeatedly on the morning of the move to ensure they were coming & them being over 1hr late then rushing like crazy to get everything packed up for our 12pm key hand over. The guys were lovely but in the process of moving a TV was broken (not even covered in the insurance as its internal damage - typical) and a wallet was lost. Hired a reputable company to make the process easier but wish I'd just hired a van. Absolutely gutted. Not even an apology from the company but they did send a happy new home card so I suppose that's supposed to make it all okay!"

Thomson removals helped us move from the West Coast of Ayrshire to County Durham over 2 days at the beginning of August. Throughout the whole procedure, the Thomson team were exceptionally professional and courteous.The guys themselves arrived on the morning and couldn’t have done anything better. They were polite, knowledgable and very careful, not one ding or dent.The van was packed within the expected time.The following day they arrived at the new house early and worked like trojans through the pouring rain to get the van unloaded and items placed exactly where we asked them to. Blankets were laid to preserve the carpets, and again they were very careful and courteous.Sofas were put together and repositioned as requested.We couldn’t have asked for a better service.Thank you to our removal men and the excellent team behind them.

Great company to deal with, from start to finish they were consummate professionals. Very well priced and despite the complexity of the job (moving from 2 homes in different areas into a new home), they made it easy for us.The staff were really friendly, helpful and worked their socks off. Everything was moved safely, was well protected and secured professionally, all whilst protecting our properties from damage and dirt, and they did a magnificent job. I would heartily recommend anyone looking for an excellent, professional and keenly priced removals company; look no further! Thank you.

This company went above and beyond in difficult circumstances to accommodate our needs. The office staff were kind and considerate and very efficient, the team on the day were just fantastic: professional, helpful and even provided a bit of light relief when it all looked like it would go wrong. Couldn't fault them and would never trust a move to anyone else. This is the second time we have used Thomsons in 6 years, They were great the first time but they surpassed themselves yesterday. Sincere thanks to the whole team!

We had a quote from this company on recommendation from friends of our son. We had a two day move. Nikki dealt with our quote and booking long distance and gave some good advice. Jamie and Tommy were brilliant, they arrived at the point when we were struggling to pack the last awkward items, they took over and stress left the building. Nothing was too much trouble, they had a “can do” attitude and were very obliging and courteous. We will certainly ask them to move us again. Thank you Thomsons.
