Newgale Beach
massive, long beach with some interesting marine life around. haven't seen the crabs, but fish right on the coast, jellies (or something similar) and some nice shells to pick up. very windy but view is great.

Beautiful bay, plenty of beach to walk, lifeguards on duty and places to eat and camp.

Newgale Beach
Absolutely stunning beach, seems to endlessly stretch for miles. It's gorgeous to walk along, would probably be fairly busy at peak times but is definitely worth a visit. Also a lot of jellyfish and other sea life and some gorgeous shells. Only downside is there's a big pebble slope you have to cross to get to and from the beach and it's far from fun trying to walk on it

Amazing beach, long stretch of sand during low tide is ideal for walking. Easy to park, there is a pub opposite and plenty of space on the beach itself for sitting down or having a picnic.Unfortunately, it’s not suitable for physically disabled people or very elderly because there is a high wall of rocks and pebbles to get to the beach.

Love this beach! It is vast with lots of open space and a very long beach to walk along. It is dog friendly all year round and the water is some of the cleanest I have seen in all of the UK. It is stone and shingle as you enter the beach and sandy near the water. Be wary the shingles can be slippery so bring comfortable and safe footwear. Also not much shady spots so bring your own umbrella for cover from the sun on hot days especially if you bring your pups.

Fantastic beach, went in the high of summer and there was plenty of space. Tide was high at about 2.30 but went out to reveal lots of sand for the kids to play on.Car park with plenty of spaces, fairly near the beach + public loos that were fairly clean.Coffee shop and pub nearby.

Beautiful big beach. There were lifeguards on duty. There were signs to say no dogs but there were more than twenty seen.Lots of different coloured pebbles before the beach.

I was on holiday in Wales and came across this most fantastic beach by pure chance when driving past on a 'mystery tour'. Parked up in the Lianion carpark, used the public WC and bought my ticket at the machine. Got the dogs, followed the path from the carpark, crossed the road onto the boardwalk to the left of the closed life guard station and down onto the beach. Within minutes two wardens approached me as I was on a 'no dogs' section of the beach. I was mortified as I didn't know and hadn't seen any signs. The understanding man who spoke to me accepted that the signage was totally inadequate and pointed out a sign on the far side of the life guard station which was similar to an 'ice cream for sale' sign, weighted down at the bottom and flapping backwards and forwards in the strong wind. There is also a tiny A4 notice fixed to a fence which is half in English and half in Welsh. The print was so small and I didn't have my glasses so didn't stop to read it. Why would I stop to read a tiny sign anyway? If it was to get a message across, it should have been much bigger in size and eye catching. Beside the boardwalk to the 'no dogs' section of the beach is a poo-bin which is really misleading. I appealed the fine to Pembrokeshire County Council and was told that I should have looked on line. Why should I have had to go online upon arrival? My mobile is old anyway and I prefer to use an atlas when planning a route. This whole experience ruined my visit to the most glorious of beaches. Shame on Pembrokeshire County Council for this sleazy way of making money out of unsuspecting tourists.Whitesands Beach had very clear signs saying 'No dogs' so I turned round and drove off again.

Wonderful beach with a campsite located just behind it.The beach has great sand and is massive. If you can get your jite above the stone bank it is also great for kite flying.
