The Bow-Legged Beagle Micro Pub
Called in here last night. Packed out, and overflowing onto street seating. Had some great beers, met some lovely people including the owner Mark. A really positive feeling about the place, and a great choice of beers at sensible prices. The staff were even kind enough to recommend another craft ale pub in Hoylake, for which many thanks. I have already recommended the place, and indeed New Brighton, to close friends.

Great micro pub on Victoria Road in New brighton.excellent range of beers, reasonably priced,excellent oatmeal stout(3.80 a pint),green apple slushy sour(5% 4quid for 2/3rds of a pint),and salted butter toffee stout (13.5%,4.50 a half).Great staff,friendly clientele.would travel over from liverpool again for a night out

Very good cask ales, reasonably priced too. I called in on a weekday afternoon. This was my first visit and I felt very unwelcome. The staff and customers clearly knew each other very well, the banter" directed at me by the latter on arrival made me feel very uncomfortable. This is the first micropub that I have visited anywhere that had such a cliquey atmosphere. I stayed for an hour or so because I found it hard to assimilate what I was experiencing. I won't be returning."

This pub is a truly wonderful place. Dog friendly, and kind locals who who will go out of their way to help you.I strongly recommend their chocolate and vanilla flavoured stout. Now, I have never been a stout drinker, but I just thought I'd give it a try. My girlfriend and I loved it!The barman was laid back and his friends where full of peace and joy.It's a small pub, but you have to go there - like, now, stop what you're doing and go there right now. Unless it's closed. Then, best not.Jokes aside, if you fancy a pint, visit this place. You won't regret it. Especially if you have a dog or love dogs, then you'll have the time of your life.

Such a great pub, with friendly staff and a great selection of quality beers.There are cask ales on offer for £3.80 a pint and a further selection of tap ales that are more expensive.There's also a great array of canned and bottled beers in the fridge, so you're certain of getting a beer you like.BLB also have spirits on offer.

The Bow-Legged Beagle Micro Pub
We've rediscovered Victoria Road in the last few months and are regulars at The Beagle. A regularly changing selection of small brewery beers means you'll always find something to your taste. You can sit outside when the sun shines and watch the world go by. It's also dog friendly, even though I'm not!
