With only a week to go before the course, I received an email cancelling the course as there aren’t enough people booked on the course to run it. At £185 for 1 day and 3 people booked on, it seems fair that they should honour the course. Travelling from London I’d already paid for accommodation which I cannot get refunded. I even offered to book another person onto the course at the cost of another £185, but that’s apparently not enough. This is really poor. Honour your courses or let people know in advance that there aren’t enough bookings for it to be viable, before they incur travel costs.

I’m a keen home baker, but I could never get bread right. By chance I found the School of Artisan Food and their artisan bread making course, which was taught by Emmanuel Hadjiandreou. I’m so happy that I attended this course as I now have a great basic knowledge of how to make bread (and my family appreciated the results!). Emmanuel was highly knowledgeable, professional and hands-on, keen to answer your questions and make bread as easy as possible for everyone. I’ll be going back for another course!

Our business 3w Growth hosts Away Days at the Artisan School of Food and it is a fabulous venue. Not only stunning and the perfect retreat to hold leadership workshops, but also one of the most welcoming and supportive venues you could find. I would highly recommend the School.

Just attended my second butchery course here. Our tutor Andrew Sharp was brilliant, very knowledgeable and definitely knows his profession inside out. A very educational day, I will definately return.

I've done a few courses here Cheesemaking in Jan 17 and Savoury Pastry in March 17. Both courses were brilliant, the instructors were very knowledgeable and professional. I'm going back to do a Professional Baking Course in August and I can't wait.

Really enjoyed the Intro to Artisan Baking with Emmanuel Hadjiandreou. A great class, thorough teaching and guidance.Update: French Baking 1 day course also completed Feb 2015. Very happy with the results. Again an excellent class, with great teaching from Emmanuel Hadjiandreou and David Carter.

We had a fantastic weekend. Emmanuel is a very relaxed teacher and makes it all seem effortless. Catering was another level too. Lovely setting, overall an experience to remember and we will definitely be back to do another course!

Attended a 1 day pie making course which was an excellent experience, the tutors were absolutely brilliant and the whole day flowed fantastically. Friends and family are now enjoying the benefits of the course as well. Many thanks to The School Of Artisan Food.

I can quite honestly say I have just spent three amazing days with The School of Artisan Food and Emmanuel. Every single aspect of the course was well executed and exceeded all expectations. In fact, given the quality of the course and the outstanding hospitality offered to all delegates by the School staff, I would go as far to say the course is humbly under-priced for what it offers.Keep this excellent standard up and keep doing what you do! While I can't think of a single negative or area for improvement, it may just be worth notifying future delegates that they will need to hire a van hire, to carry the abundant amount of bread home.Top Marks!
