Linear Park
Great place for a stroll or ride. Balance things along the way. I can't quite get the spinning log! There is also some pebble art which is interesting.

Linear Park
A tree lined park along an old railway line. Very nice place for a walk. There is a children's playground and playing fields. School children have put mosaic designs in places along the park. Rookery lane end and the Spinney have small gardens planted up and looked after by Rainford in Bloom volunteers.

Great walk and the path is a smooth tarmac, ideal for walking in normal footwear,prams,bikes,scooters etc. The old railway track runs from Mill Lane,Sandwash estate all the way to Rainford Junction were you can have a drink and food before heading back?
