Kelly Electrical gave me trust back in Tradesmen.. My daughter moved into her first home IN ARDMILLAN EDINBURGH only to find electrical wiring for Kitchen lighting hanging out of walls. Could not put on or off any lighting as did not know what was safe or not. The EX owner left the name of 3 trusted Electricians and when we called them none could do the job, So I looked on Google etc and compared the best reviews . The result was KELLY ELECTRICAL .THEY SENT DANIEL (DANNY) TO THE RESCUE.On that same day he came to the house and fixed the kitchen lighting and fan switches. I was amazed at how quickly he carried out the repair. We will never know what the previous owner was doing with the electrics.When the job was done I asked him to have a wee look around the flat for any other possible faults. He found defective and other dangerously installed appliances and wiring. I asked him if he could give me an estimate of work required. Within a day he sent me the estimate. Within another day the work was started and in another day finished.The work done was installation of 2 double sockets above worktops and side of kitchen ( one of the double sockets could have been messy as he might have to break the existing tiles and very fortunately found a way round it), installed switched fuse spur, installed new LED strip lighting, switching and LED driver, redone the dangerously installed appliances and wiring. (This was to replace the metres and metres of extension cable that was hidden behind kitchen fridge/freezer and now home to the mice!!!). One of the days by his colleague Phillip carried out the 2nd half of the job. It was my husband that was there and he was also delighted with the work done and how it was carried out. There are further jobs like additional Dimplex Heating that would benefit the flat however as my daughter has just moved home and knowing it is a very expensive time Danny was happy to break down the jobs. Kelly Electrical in my opinion is of very good value and I would not hesitate to use or recommend,One of the jobs was checking out the Induction hob which my daughter could not work. So I sent Danny a text asking to help source a hob.A short time later Danny spoke to my daughter on the phone and gave her instructions so she could test the hob. Daniel was very helpful from start to finish. I needed my flat to be ready to be let out and he was extremely helpful in letting me know what was required and why. He was able to provide me a quote within 24 hours and completed the work within a week of contacting him.

Service was really good. Danny repaired a light fitting and replaced an extractor fan for me. He replies to emails and calls and does the jobs with little fuss. Would definitely recommend.

Daniel was able to fit me into his busy schedule early morning! He ran the cable needed quickly and with minimal damage to the walls.

Danny has carried out various electrical jobs for me over the years. From repairing a loose wire in a door bell, to bringing power to our outdoor shed and installing sockets and light fitting. He’s very reliable, safety conscious and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

Danny is great to work with and is very reliable. He goes the extra mile, like finding the hatch we didn’t know about and crawling under the house to install the earthing for our new electric vehicle charger. I would definitely recommend Kelly Electrical.
