Great restaurant for an evening with the family. It's a casual restaurant serving great food.We popped in for a bit to eat during their quiz night (Thursday evenings) and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Went for a lunch with 11 work colleagues to celebrate our managers retirement. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and it was really good. One small thing, the wasps/hornets in the big window need to be removed as they were trying to find a place to nest.....

Sadly didn't have quite a few items available which meant some of our party with dietary requirements had to have refunds and go hungry. Food we did have was standard fare of varying quality.To top it off at 9pm they started hoovering the main dining area so we decided against after food drinks and moved on

From the easy online booking to the friendly welcome when we arrived. We had a good visit. The menu was simple. The kids menu was easy to choose from. We had 3 lovely meals backed up with good service from the staff. Would recommend for friends to visit.

A very wet Monday lunchtime....(4th December).food was adequate (limited choice). Quite small portions and not that inspiring. Not many customers. However reasonable pub food.

Called in the Swan for a quick lunch we had the 2 courses (you can have 3)breaded mushrooms followed by gammon eggs and chips, excellent service and food and a quick turnaround will definitely be visiting again.

Had lunch here with my son. The pub itself is just off a busy road, but it's a really lovely setting. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough. It doesn't cost anything to smile. The food was delicious. I had the turkey dinner and my son had fish and chips and the apple pie. They have cold water at the bar, where you help yourself, nice touch. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of parking. I would go again and have recommended same to my friends. Cost £41 for one starter, 2 mains and one dessert. They do accept dogs, which is why I couldn't give 5 stars.

Plenty of seating and comfortable. Very few staff, so waited at an empty bar for a long time to order food. Not the first time this has happened either... Staff ok, but not particularly friendly or interested in service. Food is good and decent selection of beers on tap. Plenty of parking.

the beer and drinks were dreadful because they didn't realise the gas needed changing, the food took an eternity to come out and when it did was cold! the vegan mains were not what we're ordered! pre ordered at that! they served congealed rice on a roast! not the tart! tried telling me it was lentils! it wasn't it was rice! and either way was not what was ordered or even close. staff were lovely but clueless! chefs need firing! the whole table agreed it was some of the worst food we had ever received! sides came out after then mains were complete and finished! no checks on food! long waits at the bar! and then the bill was incorrect and it took them the best part of an hour to figure it out! over all an abysmal experience
