Kentdale Jaguar

Jeff Kane was very helpful in answering all the questions I had regarding purchasing a new Jaguar. Worked out what would be the best deal for me. I only didn't purchase through this dealership because the model I wanted was not in stock.

I dealt with Jeff who was excellent from start to finish in the purchase of my nearly new XF Sportbrake. Some dealerships I dealt with were very pushy, but Jeff very easy to deal with. I’d definitely recommend Kentdale and Jeff if you’re after a Jaguar. The car is superb too.

I bought my XK from a dealer in Sevenoaks. However when it was delivered, the service light was still showing and, as it was too far away to take it back for them to do it, they arranged a courtesy visit with my local dealer, Kentdale, to have the light reset.However, when I spoke to the service manageress at Kentdale to book the car in she told me that she was not aware of the arrangement but offered to check and let me know prior to my visit if there was to be any charge.Having not heard anything further I turned up on the day and when I arrived I explained that it was a courtesy visit and I wasn't expecting there to be a charge. The receptionist checked with the service manageress who denied all knowledge of our conversation and said that I would have to pay for the work. She didn't even come to speak to me herself, leaving the receptionist to speak for her.So I had a wasted trip and lost a mornings work. But the worst part was her denial of the conversation and her lack of courtesy. This is not what I expect of any main dealer but especially not from Jaguar.

Great showroom great service

Sadly not the experience I was expecting from a franchised Jaguar dealer. I rang Kentdale Jaguar dealership the day before to arrange to view a one year old Jaguar which was advertised on their website. The sales team took all of my details including home address and advised me the vehicle would be available to view and to also bring my driving licence should I wish to drive it. I arrived at the reception the following day to view the car, a salesman was found even though they couldn't find my details on the system, but he had another customer due shortly for a handover. I followed the salesman onto the sales pitch to view the car which was advertised as Jaguar approved, what I was greeted with looked like a vehicle from an Ebay advert for a genuine barn find" complete with years of dust. The look of embarrassment on the salesman's face said it all

Excellent sales department Jeff Kane is an amazing gentleman to deal with and if your using this Jaguar dealer for purchases I would advise you speak to him. However the after sales customer service is shocking. Georgia who works in service is fantastic couldn’t be more helpful. Ross Williams on the other hand should not be in a position where he is allowed to speak to customers. With his “I have friends who could sort this for free” attitude he would learn a lot from staff working in McDonalds. Infact I would go as far as to say I don’t think McDonalds would employ him. This has put me off the Jaguar Brand and will be selling my vehicle and looking elsewhere i future.
