Stumbled across this little gem while on a day trip to sunny Mablethorpe. Browsed the menu and we both opted for the ploughman's. The young lady then asked what flavour of crisps we wanted. Meal arrived and wow, lovely plate full. Pork pie, deli ham, extensive salad, cheese, grapes, celery, coleslaw, pickles, bread and butter and a bowl full of crisps. All washed down with a large pot of tea. Exceptional value, friendly service and delicious food. First class

Don’t miss The Hungry Seahorse, Freshly cooked food (so be patient) that was perfectly cooked by someone who obviously knew what they were doing. Friendly polite young staff that were a credit to the Seahorse.

Just had a small breakfast , and it was great, all the food was hot and tasty.And all at a very good price.Plus they have a separate room for dog lovers.Would definitely recommend you visit and will be definitely calling again

Lovely meal, cooked throughout, waitresses and staff were also lovely, does get really busy though so go early to avoid disappointment.

We were on one of our regular weekend visits from Bristol and were keen to have something to eat before the long journey back.We had just walked our dogs on the beach, so we sat outside with them and had egg and bacon rolls with tea for two and - my word - did it ever hit the spot! The waitress was smiley and charming and the whole experience made me wonder why we ever left East Lincs 30 years ago!Value for money was great too - especially compared to where we live!We look forward to visiting again.

Been here many many times over the years since it first opened missed the elderly couple search the new owners of taken over it's not bad but just unfortunately some of the food was quite cold unfortunately the young girls that were serving us we're ok but not really a lot of happy bubbliness like the old staff we're always very friendly and happy and used to be able to have a laugh with them it's a bit of a shame really hopefully the Seahorse will improve? and on our visit we spoke to another couple outside that were an elderly couple at the same time as our visit and they said their dinner was quite cold also and they were a little bit disappointed fingers crossed our next visit we'll be better
