This company went down hill, fast! Had 2 tyres fitted recently. One went on fine, the other was fitted and one bolt was cross threaded, myself and the technician had to shake the wheel off the car to remove the wheel (the wheel come off fine without issues before the tyre was fitted) The technician said it was weird and fitted my wheel without the damaged bolt and left. Customer service told me the damage will be paid in full after I get the wheel hub replaced. I requested that in an email and was told that’s “physically impossible” by the person over the phone. Three weeks later and the Halfords team confirm it’s my fault without even physically seeing the damage. The offer to pay 50% to replace the wheel hub even after leaving me with a wheel fitted with only 4 bolts and originally said the damage would be paid in full. I’ll never use tyres on the drive OR Halfords again and will spend the word to everyone I meet.

I booked a time slot and the technician turned up at the correct time with no problems there. However, about 5 minutes into my fitting time he knocked on the door and told me that my locking wheel nut was too stiff and might've been tightened back on prior by an air gun. He said that due to him not being able to get it off normally I had 4 options. 1.I would have to sign a disclaimer that he could jump on the wrench to get it to move but this could damage my locking wheel nut. 2. I could take the tyres and get them fitted at my own garage. 3. I could get a garage to loosen my wheel nuts with an air gun or 4. Get a refund. I chose option 3 and took my car to my local garage to see if they could help. On arrival they were able to unlock my locking wheel nut with a standard wrench with little difficulty and definitely no jumping required. I now believe that the technician couldn't be bothered to change my tyres and wanted to just go home so pretended he couldn't get my locking wheel nut off. I have since requested a refund and will not use their service.

Damaged my alloy, and even with timestamped proof they're trying to deny it. Poor customer service, rude technician who was clearly in a bad mood when he arrived. Pay a bit more, and use kwikfit if you value your alloys like me. NEVER AGAIN

Worst service I’ve ever received (or not received!!) from any company. Original booking slot for tyre replacement cancelled due to technician being poorly. I received 2 hours notice, and was asked to contact customer services to reschedule. The technician then turned up 3 hours before agreed time, so I missed him. He said he’d ring the office, to get them to call me back to rearrange a time, but they never did. Tried calling and emailing customer services. They were supposed to be available 8am - 8pm 7 days a week, but they were closed during a lot of this time. Was told they couldn’t fit me in on a convenient day, even when I explained the situation. They would only offer me time slots when I was at work, and couldn’t be at home without losing money. Emailed the assistant manager, even texted him asking him to fit me in on a convenient day. Received no reply or acknowledgement from emails sent to customer services, or assistant manager, even after several days. Rang customer services multiple times, and finally managed to get booked in for a slot 8 days after my initial booking. Was told by customer services that as an ‘act of goodwill’ they wouldn’t charge me for the second booking slot. Absolute joke. Obstructive and indifferent customer services and management, and the company completely ignored my attempts to resolve my problem. I used this company because they are affiliated to Halfords, a name I had trusted in the past, but no longer. Tyres on the drive? I don’t think so, but your car may be on the drive for quite some time if your daft enough to use them.

As per phone conversation with Dan at…As per phone conversation with Dan at Tyres On The Drive today(Saturday 04/12/2021) please find attached clear photos of the damagedwheel rim requested. The photos show damage in four areas of the wheelrims face & also a slap dash attitude to wheel rim balancing weightapplication. The damage was caused by your faulty tyre fitting machinetogether with a very young & inexperienced technician. One of thehydraulic rams located on the underside of the tyre fitting machine'sturntable fell off due to a missing washer & circlip thus allowing thewheel rim to slip within the four anchor jaws of the tyre fittingmachine. Tried to use them about 18 months ago for my van tyres. Got a phone call mid afternoon to say that not all their fitters turned up but could rearrange next day. Didn't show up again the next day so cancelled.Out of convenience, I decided to try them again for my car. Booked 8am - noon slot, phone call at 9am saying not all their fitters have turned up but can book me in for tomorrow. Told them not to bother and cancel the order and they just put the phone down.

Booked before I read the reviews but glad I did. Whole process was smooth start to finish. Tyres changed and left really clean with tyre sealant all cleared off. As cheap as a fast fit place without the need to wait around for them to be fitted.

Booked a date a paid extra for a Morning fitting, Received a message telling me the were short staffed and wouldn't be attending a 07:30 the morning of the fitting. I rang and asked if I could attend any of their fitting bays and was told no. Asked for a refund £304 on 31/8/2023 and the manager said he would do it straight away. Checked today 10/9/2023 and it still hasn't been processed. Now informed will be refunded by 16/9/2023. Terrible service. I had used them twice before without a problem but I will go to Malvern Tyres in future, fantastic service even if you have to go to them.

Don’t use this company. Useless. Had a puncture on my driveway. Booked them to come out the following day. Received an email to say the member of staff was off sick and that they would have to cancel. Told me to call them and rearrange the appointment. No appointments available for another 3 days. Person on the phone didn’t care at all that I’d taken the day off of work and lost out on money already. Refunds take 3-5 working days. Don’t take the money if you can’t provide the service. Which, given the reviews I have just seen, they cannot.
