Country Cats Cattery

The owners are wonderful, they worked to such short notice and really took care of our cat. The price is very good, everyone cares. The location is fantastic, and I genuinely feel our cat had a wonderful stay, and was looked after.

Incredibly well run cattery.My girls stayed for 4 weeks and they didn't want to leave!Great facilities, lovely owners with so much knowledge.

Absolutely awful place. My cat was traumatised by the whole experience. When I got him home I checked him over and was horrified at the state of him. He was shaking. Without going into detail I had to put him straight into the bath to clean him up as it was obvious that what I found had been there for days. He never likes having a bath but he literally stood there motionless whilst I went through the process of removing everything that was stuck in his fur, terrible shame for him as he must have felt dreadful. He hasn’t left my side since, I hope this doesn’t affect him long term. I know cats can react differently to being in a cattery but surely experienced staff should be able to cope with different situations/ nervous cats. Clearly this is not the case here. Very neglectful. I wish I had taken photos to show the state he was in but my priority at the time was to help him. Please don’t leave your cat here. I have only left one star because I couldn’t leave zero.

First time stay for our two cats who have very different personalities. We were naturally nervous about leaving them but both have returned very happy and have obviously been wonderfully cared for. Owners are very conscientious as to individual needs of their charges and to owners anxieties! Will absolutely recommend this establishment - so good to find somewhere we can trust to care for our cats.
