G-Rack

After searching the internet,and watching plenty of YouTube videos, I went for GRack. I'm very glad I did. Ordered on Friday morning, delivered Saturday. I went for the 60cm deep shelves. All parts were there, plus extra clips to join system. Put up and bolted to the wall within a day. I went for a combo, which was a very good price, and far cheaper than buying wood to make the shelves myself. 100kg per shelf makes it far stronger than I actually need.This is being used in a garage at home, for normal DIY items and tools. All in all perfect from order, to delivery, to build.

Extremely disappointing, recieved the shelves with connectors missing so I couldnt assemble them fully, but did as much as I could and only needed 1 upright connector, so I thought it might be an honest mistake or it fell out in transit so I bought some more connectors, which have never been sent, DPD still says received tracking details awaiting package to send out and its been three weeks I have tried emailing 3 or 4 times with no response. Absolutely shocking!

ordered 4th September estimated delivery Friday, 8-12 Sept. It's now the 21st and I have sent 4 emails I still haven't had a resolution. They have also disconnected their phone number so you can't speak to anybody. It has all of the hallmarks of a poorly run business, with poor inventory management and horrendous customer service. Give this company a swerve.

Unfortunately I cannot give 0 stars. Definitely the worst company I have had to deal with. Returned my order and after multiple emails as they will NEVER give a phone number to contact, 6 weeks after I sent the order back they gave me a partial refund claiming I should pay £11 courier fee for each rack returned. Absolutely scandalous and shameful company. Why companies are happy treating their customers like this is beyond me.

BADLY ENGINEER PRODUCT - Rack was working fine for 6 months or so although looking back, I thought the parts looked a bit flimsy when I put it together. Then all of a sudden it just failed tonight, the connector which connects the lower and upper sections (this is a taller shelving model) just gave in (see photos - it was bent) and everything on the shelf just crashed onto the floor. I was in another room, but someone could have been injured seriously if they were in the store room where this shelving unit is located. There were spilled things and broken glass everywhere on carpet, not good. I haven't even got to assess whether the computer which flew off the top shelf is still useable.I think this product is badly engineered. Why have two shorter vertical supports connected via a small connector instead of just having one single full height support member? This is a weak point. Just a bit shocked how this failed so suddenly and spectacularly. The stuff I was storing was not heavy - not more than 20kg per shelf. I certainly expect what being marketed as 'heavy duty storage' shall do better than this.

Arrived with missing parts. There is no phone number to call and G Rack are not responding to my Facebook messages and emails.If the storage units arrived undamaged and nothing missing, then this would have been 5 stars.I have been waiting for a response for 3 weeks now, hence the 2 stars.

AVOID at all costsWorst company I have ever dealt with. They lie about shipping products . When challenged they ignore your emails and there is no tel no to speak to anyone. I will be reporting to police about the theft of my moneyTERRIBLE COMPANY

Shelves arrived on time and with all the pieces but they are quite flimsy and wobbly in comparison to other brands. It's fine for the job we need them for but if you are looking to store heavy items, I would suggest paying more elsewhere. You get what you pay for.I'd have given 3 stars for the shelves delivery but have dropped a star because I signed up to the newsletter in order to get 5% off and they have sent me 12 marketing emails in 6 days, on top of the emails about my order (which were weirdly worded).

Shelves seemed great for all of a few months before they were completely covered in mould.Contacted G-rack asking to buy new shelves and given some half hearted answer about how they might sell them at some point in the future. Can’t confirm when and suggest I just periodically check the website which obviously doesn’t help me now!Have since realised the shelves are meant to be covered under five year warranty but can see from other reviews that this is not honoured. Have tried to email and am hoping for a response soon in which case I would change my review. The phone number online does not work. In general it seems like poor customer service all round.
