I enjoyed this area Bristol history every where, ferry runs to centre along the river Avon with stops along it.You can book a cruise, trips, or a pub crawl. The Cottage is right on the wharf side,Also The Nova Scotia is a lovely place, you can get good food here and the usual bar beverages, sit and watch goings on out side .

Strange to review a carpark but this is a really good one, it's small and probably a nightmare on the weekend, but if you have kids who like boats or trains it's worth giving it a shot. You enter/exit across train tracks and they have some historical rolling stock close by, plus it's right in the water. Great for access to M Shed as well.

Very over crowded sometimes when trying to enjoy the sites of the harbour/dock area. Also quite a bit of an eyesore (very boring architecture). Seems to be void of much culture. Also during Covid times it feels very overcrowded with people spilling out from bars on to very narrow walkways. Will now be avoiding this side of town.

Very nice to walk around on a sunny day lots to see and lots of interesting little shops stacked portacabin shops all offer something different from the usual shops. Also good range of cafes and eating palaces. SS Greatbritain ship to visit too and their own gift shop.
