On our way to deliver flowers for a wedding on Sat 9/6/18 and needed a quick bite to eat...saw Emilys and called in. Excellent, couldn't rate them highly enough. Quality, range, price, cleanliness, politeness and the cob was massive. Best cob ever..... And I am not one to give out praise easily - well done to all. Many thanks

I have lived 'just across the road', from Emily's for over 9 years now and for no particular reason, had not crossed the threshold in that time, until this week.Today was my third visit and again 'pushed the boat out' to purchase a (small) healthy lunchtime salad. Cost: just £2.50.It was 'excellent' first time and while varying which protein option I tried on each occasion, but they've all been excellent.Served cheerfully by either mother or daughter then, IMO, it's a local business which deserves to thrive ...and deserves better local support than I provided, until 'breaking the ice' this week!Its a sandwich bar rather than bistro, so its 'atmosphere claims can only be very limited, but that's really NOT the point here! It makes no claims to being more, so, 'it is, what it is' ...and that is VERY GOOD!My next 'management decision'?Do I need to 'flash the cash' and buy a coffee there, or simply carry on pouring a drink when home, less than 5 minutes later!

We have come to the open day at the fire station and googled somewhere to eat nearby. The photos attracted me to Emily's Lunch Box so we decided to go there. We were not disappointed! 6 of us fed for a very reasonable price, lovely fresh, filling and tasty food and the staff were very friendly and efficient too. We will definitely very back next time we are in the area :)
