Picked up a bacon cauliflower cheese pie and pastel de nata from Bideford Xmas market. Both delicious. 5*

A tale of woe.On a sunny morning in June, my partner and her sister ventured bravely into the throngs at the Bath and west show. In between admiring teeny tiny horses and the rippling glistening muscles of farriers whilst they shod their glorious steeds, a Purchase was made from the exmmor feasting company and the choice was made for a piggy pie, a wise choice if the name were to be believed. Badger pie would have been more apt. Why?Because badger loves mashed potato, which is all there was beneath the one tiny chipolata wrapped in bacon. No more meat no gravy, and £4.50 for the creamy pureed taste of disappointment. As mash goes it wasn't bad.And if Clare had read the preview (previous) review she would see I could not read the sign as I was not there. Also it was plain mash and not bubble and squeak with one very small chipolata on top,ItCost£4.50Oh and I am not miserable Clare. Very happy chap actually.

Delicious and love the way these pies look. So much so, I just googled as I want to try and get some for visiting family next week. Like the previous reviewer, I found the Exmoor Feasting Company at the bath and west show and I too got the piggy pie. I would also like to correct the preview reviewer that it was in fact very clearly stated on the sign this pie is bubble and squeak, topped with a pig in blanket. It annoys me the miserable customer gave such a wonderful company his negative review because they were too ignorant to read the sign. I hope he feels ridiculous and deletes so you don't miss out. Picture is my pie reheated for dinner dinner tonight
