Love cafe Nero.. food is expensive..the pastries and coffees are excellent though.Staff are helpful they advised me on the best coffee for my needs.Explained the difference between a cortado and a latte and I deferred to the latte yet again! Not that adventurous.My daughter loved her hot chocolate though.Handy for my daughters staying close by.Will be coming back when we return to Nottingham.

I go here daily for my coffee and the staff take the time to chat and get to know you. The other Nero’s in Nottingham don’t compare. The staff are all grumpy and bearly utter a word to you. If you want good coffee and great service I’d recommend the Wheeler gate location anytime.

All very good stuff. Nero needs more mushroom-based dishes. At least one café should increase working hours to 9 pm to compete with Costa and Starbucks popularity. Keep raspberry roulade going.

Good place to go for a coffee, staff are nice, I do wish they clean up tables more often.Usually end up having to take off someone’s tray outside.

The nicest barista in town. I was welcomed by this lovely chap at the counter, outside they had the poster announcing Guatemala coffee so I decided to enter to try it. When I asked him about this coffee he had a great knowledge of this product and gave me lots of information and the best way to taste it. He is Italian besides being a barista so he knows a lot of coffee by his culture and his profession. The place was tidy and cozy. The other staff was very polite and friendly. Great place to go for a proper coffee.

This quaint Caffè Nero is a nice place to escape the bustle of Old Market Square, but not entirely. When in during a rush, the seating downstairs can unintentionally make you develop close bonds with the strangers around you in a type of ao3 'trapped in the same space and forced to reconcile their differences' kind of way. (there is upstairs seating though!)I had the winter blend this time and a sausage bap (utter scran). The blend is a bit spicy, like a warm blanket surrounded by your mum's air wick winter spice blend reed diffusers. I'd recommend getting the seasonal or special blends they do regardless because for only a small price increase, you're really deepening the flavours you're experiencing!
